Rockstars logic is flawed thats why

I feel like Red Dead Redemption's online was 1000x better handled than GTA V.

 

Triple RP or something always happening. And I didnt even play RDR online that much.

 

It's their f*cking biggest game, how did they think downgrading the online portion would be a good idea?

 

Plus, they have been ultra misleading on when they tell us things will be released. They should have added more content instead of just throwing us money ONE TIME.

 

I wouldve done things this way:

Every week feature something different. Example:

 

Week 3: Races - 2x RP + 2x $

Week 4: Special Crates (rare clothing item)

Week 5: Survivals - 2x RP + 2x $

Week 6: Golf, Darts, Tennis, Arm Wrestling - 2x RP + 2x $

Week 7: Deathmatches - 2x RP + 2x $

Week 8: Firing Range - 2x RP + 2x $

Week 9: Missions / Jobs - 2x RP + 2x $

Week 10: Air Races - 2x RP + 2x $

Week 11: Parachuting - 2x RP + 2x $

Week 12: Last Team Standing - 2x RP + 2x $

Week 13: Team Deathmatches - 2x RP + 2x $

Week 14: Rally Races - 2x RP + 2x $

Week 15: Capture (GTA and Hold) - 2x RP + 2x $

Week 16: Armored Trucks - 2x $

Week 17: Bike Races - 2x RP + 2x $

Week 18: Gang Attacks - 2x RP + 2x $

What the hell happen with them between IV and V? I can't play pool anymore in V. I can't play air hocky. and more to name. And when I find a fun glitch. It's patched! Remember that gate glitch? What happen there? IV has been out how long now and we still had the swing set glitch! Which we can all agree is a fun as hell glitch.. Rockstar is trying to be more serious but that.. That only works for so long before a game gets boring.. Look at saints row now THATS a fun game! from 1 to 4!.. I never got to play 4 but I can tell I'd had fun!

It's my feeling saints row had the right idea, just executed poorly (in comparison to GTA) Now I believe the latest installment is about aliens invading earth, with ray guns and magic powers, but don't quote me as I only played for 5 minutes

Sell gameplay, not accessories.

 

They should just release story extensions for single player that are like $10-20, and you get the DLC packs for free along with them. This means you get all the cars, apartments, outfits, etc for free with that release. Virtual currency is stupid. $20 in real world currency for a f*cking digital vehicle in an online world that's barely functional is borderline fraud.

 

More than 2 new cars per update would be nice. An entire Vice City vehicles pack would be nice.

 

It really is time for some substantial content a'la DLC not Mandatory and (of late) lacking in substance Updates (compared to the High Life/Hipster level of content for example).

 

I am more than willing to pay $20 for a SP DLC with Content (substantial) that carries over to Online. Sales for such a DLC would likely be +5 million so making R* a tidy $100 million more Revenue out of GTA V; so seems worth it for R*

 

As an aside however, maybe R* are going to permanently shelf any SP DLC, since they do not intend it (any new Content) to carry over to GTA Online and realize most people will not bother purchasing it as a result?

 

 

 

 

 

If that's the case, I'd rather purchase a full DLC pack with complete access than a Shart card. Hell, a subscription fee is better than Shart cards.

Modders are sh*t..... why do these pricks keep on taking over lobbies? This one was PSN name 'Imabosss24-7' spawned up behind me at the airport with a minigun and his character was invisible and nailed me... I complained over the mic that he had no skills to spawn into the airport south building with the 2 drinks machines so I know it wasn't off the radar.

 

so I choose a game of Darts to spawn away and across the map, so then a car spawns in the darts bar and kills me while on passive, then the lifting up of my character and dropping me goes over and over killing me everytime, So you can't leave or report without signing out of PSN.... all this with the c**t calling me a pussy and accusing me of being a modder with my stats..... I am sorry I worked for this.... not downloaded a program and got it instantly!

 

Same goes to all those lazy squeakers asking for cash drops.... I don't mod and can't drop cash.... and if I did why the hell should I drop cash for strangers if I could do it.... stop sending messages and friend requests for money drops.... My preference for such a style of events would be slightly simpler to avoid confusion as to exactly what the event of the week is and since 25 weeks is a very long cycle to repeat an event.

 

Open up your Phone, go to Quick Job, running down the list (ex. Random), this is what will be featured sequentially for the first X (= however many options there are) weeks. R* could then interject a week of increased spawn rates for the HPV, Armoured Trucks, Lester Kill Targets & Special Crates (tie in with a Crate Drop event if they choose to) and then just a week for Gang Attacks. Say 3 x $ and 4 x RP (since they are so low) in crates for the Gang Attacks.

 

This would cover virtually everything, repeat quicker and ensure the more played game-modes are featured quicker (which helps keep people playing). Most people do not go to the Firing Range or Arm Wrestling for example so they do not need a week to themselves and would be covered under the Join Activities week at either rate.

 

Overall though, a very good idea and I completely agree that R* are not doing themselves many favors with how they are handling GTA Online; it does have a lot more potential if R* were not so restrictive.

The clothing in this game sucks. Most clothing options are merely recycled with different colors/logos/styles. It also seems like a pain to find clothing that match each other. I was trying to make a prizon attire for my player but i cant find any matching pants of the same color.

NPC Vehicle T-Bones my PV before mission even begins, 1/3 of my character's kevlar body armor is depleted as opposed to health.
