There is no reason why the new content cannot be added to the current version of the game. Ubisoft manages to have the same content on current and next gen, albeit with differences between the graphics (which is fair enough). "Console limitations" was just a toal lie.

Pretty much. It's not happenstance or coincidence that the game released a full year later on PS4/X1. It could've been a launch title for those systems, really, but they delayed it to get money. And anyone who tries to dispute this is seriously sippin' too much of the orange kool-aid. Look at the PC version's release date. Comes out two months after the PS4/X1 version. Why? Because if it released alongside them, Rockstar would be forced to sell the game at a big discount like every other game on Steam (big Steam sales in November and December, and then a week into January as well.) The PC version just so happens to release right after all the big Steam Holiday Sales are done and over with. How convenient.

Personally, I read the "console limitations" to mean playable content, not the DLC-style stuff. Adding the extras is just an upgrade bonus which is why it won't be released to the old consoles. I don't think either thing was supposed to be in reference to the other.

Let me ask you a question about cops on GTAO:

Can not find it really stupid and IDIOT that R* not give us the option to disable the Police? Yet it was possible in GTA IV! But on GTA V, you can disable just 3 minutes! And must pay for it !!! You have to pay to have fun wtf.

I was doing a Lazer clash against another player who was also in Lazer, and all of a sudden, a helicopter of N.O.O.S.E. comes crashing down on me! This game is unplayable because of them! I hope we can remove them in the next-gen version! Because the f*cking cops bother us all the time! I pity the players Role Play policeman who struggle to interpret their role as a cop with of LSPD NP'C of sh*t.

Besides, I stop my Role Play of Agent [FIB] because the cops came to disturb me when I stop the suspects.

Moat of the times I quick join races, I get placed in Verified races, most of which have jumps. Give me an option to exclude them from matchmaking... That would be very nice for my sanity.

My issue isn't that some races have jumps. My issue is that some races have too many jumps. They're coated with them.

I'm annoyed because I know I will be getting new gen, but am pretending to myself that I will wait for every1 else to test it and can find out what we are actually dealing with. But of course I will be getting it anyway, so can rockstar stop this stupid marketing where they are trying to build hype again and just come out and tell us if there are animals online and if there is first person view.

I'm going to wait until Christmas/New Year at the earliest. Buying an Xbone with GTA and another game as a bundle is the only way I can see rebuying GTA as being anything other than a total waste of money.

I don't like how at any one time there's only 4 or 5 vehicles on the entire map. It's complete nonsense to pull up at a junction in a Dubsta and see nothing but Dubsta's to the right, left, behind and in front. It's surreal.

 

I know it's always been like that as in GTA as far as I can remember but it has always got on my tits. Is it really such a technical impossibility to generate a random selection of every car in the game?

 

I don't get it. In addition the fact that if you stand in the road and look in one direction nothing will spawn but they will spawn behind you is more bull****.

Hit a dude un the upper torse with a Heavy Sniper, he survives and takes cover, pops out again, Snipe him in the upper torso again, manages to kill me...'

 

On a rooftop sniping people, I snipe a dude and he feigns death by falling so I stop aiming for him only to see the f*cker is still alive and ran away, trying to snipe another guy while getting shot at constantly by a tank who has no concept of giving up so my screen is shaking and I miss my shots, I line up my shot again while the shaking has momentarily stopped only to freeze and miss again. Finally I shoot the guy twice and somehow someone else got the kill even though my crosshair was still red when shooting him...

 

I'm just going to keep jet griefing, this game is too laggy for pvp

Not with the specs last gen consoles have, spawning more cars that are different uses much more RAM than spawning a bunch of the same. I'm sure with the current gen consoles you won't have that issue anymore.

Well, at least another shot shows a Marshall with a Scottish flag so at least it'll be customizable.

I have no idea why GTA still does that sh*t. Saints Row 2 and every game in the series that followed it never had this problem. The way those games did it, certain vehicles would spawn in certain areas to better reflect the lifestyles people led in such areas. In GTA, if you get inside a Banshee, suddenly everyone else in the f*cking city has one.

 

I'm a fan of both series but truth be told, Saints Row does a sh*tload of stuff better than GTA does. Volition is all about letting the players have fun any way they want, and it seems Cockstar goes out of their way to do the opposite.

The PC has more options, higher graphics settings, higher fps options, more variation in hardware to deal with, the graphics settings need to be more customisable etc.
