People who are K/D obsessed and take Deathmatch seriously need to stay their asses on COD and Battlefield because DM in this game is broken and K/D is a damn joke in this game because any douche can go into god mode and boost it or through those garbage custom DMs. I said it once and ill say it again, F*CK YOUR K/D. Officially quit my lame ass crew because they spam me with the same two f*cking maps and do nothing BUT deathmatch only.

i dont understand why this thread is unpinned. the users use it on a daily basis. it should be pinned again. this thread is more official than other generic threads. this sentence sounds very monotonous as i type it out.

Oh god help me. As someone said above about K/D some people take it too seriously in free-roam. Loading into a session I noticed a Level 1 killing people. I thought "this should be good, better go watch in my apartment" Not only was the asshole killing someone every time they were on the bridge of death, they took the easy way out... What happened when they finally died? They left. I thought "ok now they're gone" 2 minutes later they came back on a level 402 character. Dude. If you care about K/D so much you would swap characters is so f*cking sad. Ugh.

Is there a new God Mode by any chance? Been in two different lobbies yesterday, and in each lobby, there has been atleast one bum who couldn't die. First one was obvious, ran through bullets of multiple players, was blown up, didn't die. Second one was a short encounter, had a bounty. I've been waiting around the corner, and emptied half my G36's magazine in his upper body & head (at close range), until he killed me.

I've been thinking about the radio stations again... How is it that a game in 2013 doesn't have an R&B station??? The Lowdown is cool and all, but it would have been nice to have a radio station with modern singers like The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Trey Songz, Tinashe, or even Chris Brown and Drake.

 

Some 90's and 80's R&B like Keith Sweat, Ginuwine again, and Joe would have sealed the deal. The Vibe from GTA IV was just awesome, one of my favorite radio stations. I miss listening to "My Pony" and "Freek'n You" when driving through downtown Algonquin.

I de-select catch-up for all the races I host. I don't even permit slipstream. And I only race when I am the host, although I will go along with whatever people vote if I'm not yet ready to return to freemode.

Maybe I'm just an anomaly, or maybe people are intimidated by my screen name and chrome Zentorno, but when people honk at me to show friendly, I immediately stop trying to kill them, and I haven't had one betrayal as you describe yet.

One of my favorite things to do (since I can't just wantonly sticky bomb people in their PVs any more) is to sticky bomb the green-blip Import/Export car then drive away some bit of distance, then when someone gets into the car to get it resprayed, I do a nice long count and out of the blue.......kaboom. *smokes cigarette and exhale deeply*

 

P.S.: No BS or insurance on that, either!

Yes, Godmode has taken over GTAO in the last 48 hours, but with the in-game reporting system that is superior to GTA4, if everyone does their part to kick and report for exploits (non-game-bug), these folks will rack up BS points so fast it will make their heads spin. I have sent texts to the entire lobby saying "Please kick and report for exploits <playername> -- godmode." I check for crew affiliation, and I don't send to fellow crew. I hope everyone reading this who doesn't want to experience what PsychoGamer just described takes the time to do this procedure religiously. I guarantee that will solve the problem expeditiously.

I did a 6 person race a few hours ago, and they were the worst bunch of drivers I have ever seen.

Traffic was on, and the race took place on a 2-lane road. The person who started the race in position #1 stayed in first place the entire race, because everyone behind him kept crashing into cars and blocking the small country road, thereby blocking everyone behind them. I started in position #6. I stood no chance, even when I tried to wait for my moment to pass them. Every single time, out of nowhere, someone somewhere up ahead would cause a pileup, and either I was so close that I'd hit them, or I had to slow down significantly to avoid the wreckage. The person who started in position #1 beat the sh!t out of everyone else.

They were all in the same crew.
Guess what their name was.
"The Midnight Club" crew.
Before I chose Freemode, I spoke into my mic - "For a crew named 'Midnight Club', you guys are awful drivers"

I got killed twice in the past 2 days right after selecting "Enable Passive Mode"

Normally, it'll let you know by the timer in the bottom right that you can't use Passive Mode quite yet, but these 2 times I got killed, I selected it, no timer, BAM, shot in the face.

Another f*ck up is the damn tank, heli and jet icons. They are all unidentifyable (is that a word lol) as friends, crew or enemies.

 

God forbid I try to press pause to see who they are and with the 10 second lag I end up gettin destroyed before i can even look on my friggen map!

Didn't have no cash on my 1st character yesterday, so i loaded up my 2nd, and did a mission. It was 'Rich in Richman', where you have to steal two cars from a mansion. Well, it just said: "Wait until your team is ready" but all four players have been in the yellow circle.

 

However, one player climbed over the gate, and collected the Stinger GT. The game says: "the MANSION" has been collected by xxxxx"

 

Eventually the mission failed, and i had enough. Switched to my 1st character, and damn... noticed, i still have no money.

 

Switched back to 2nd, put some $$$ on the bank, switched back to my 1st. Failed to connect session, back to singleplayer. I want to HOST a solo with my 1st character, but it loads solo with my 2nd instead. I switch AGAIN to my 1st, and it loads, and loads, and loads...

Everytime I switch character I have to go back to sp just to switch sessions.

 

Also: Why do I get thrown out of my OWN invite only sessions after 15 minutes with only ME in it?

I know about this but I hate it..The big letters is the problem because if theres too many people in an area the stupid name tag blocks you from seeing the other dots

 

@Vercettiguy...I believe there was some glitch to aviod having to go back to SP if it bothers you that much. It pisses me off too, havent tried the glitch but it probably takes as much time as going to SP then back to MP lol

It's very important as soon as you realize they are godmode to get away from their line of fire, go into passive mode (make sure it doesn't glitch you back to non-passive after 10 seconds), and immediately report on the in-game menu for exploits before they kill you again or freeze you. Don't do all the other crap you did where he knows he is pissing you off to the point he knows for sure at that point you are going to report him, so that he doesn't pre-empt you by freezing you first. Here is the procedure:

 

1. Get out of godmode's line of fire.

2. Go passive. Make sure you stay passive (there is a passive glitch).

3. Report player to Rockstar for exploits (not game bug).

4. Review player to avoid for unsportsmanlike conduct.

5. Report player to Microsoft for unsportsmanlike conduct.

6. Message each player (in-game, not through Microsoft): "Player X is confirmed godmode. Please report for exploits then kick." But check to make sure you do not send this message to anyone who you saw riding with the godmode player or who is in the same crew as the godmode player.

7. Kick player from session.

8. Continue playing in session if possible, so your kick vote counts with others.

9. If player is kicked, you will notice his name disappear from list without the "Player X left" notification. (I think, not sure on that).

10. If godmode player kills you again after you have tried to leave him alone and avoid him, then leave the session. Hopefully he will not have frozen you by this point.

11. Last but not least, and above all, do NOT tell the player you are reporting that you have done so. Do not talk about it over the microphone and do not message him or his friends. Do it all anonymously. Don't worry, Rockstar will give him a load of bad sport points if you do this right.

Although I use this tactic quite a bit (check out my screen name LDO), I also like to shotty and bullpup you a large percent of the time. I'm glad they left cover largely unchanged from GTA4, which is where I spent quite large chunks of time learning how to fight from cover.

I'm appalled at the amount of stupid glitches still present in this game after many updates.

 

For example, I did the mission this morning where you have to go to some tucked away parking lot and steal two vehicles. A team of four guys, me included. We get over there, and a mission that should take no longer than five minutes wound up taking about fifteen. One guy gets the first car and promptly goes about the job and delivers the vehicle. Meanwhile the guy who I made it over there with (he was a passenger in my PV for the sake of posterity) winds up waging a one-man offensive against the swelling police presence solely because the game glitched up and decided that our wanted level shall remain in place permanently.

 

I mean, the area we were already in was sufficient for being in the "evasive phase" of the wanted level, yet the cops never went away. So he got out of the vehicle and went and started slaughtering cops to make them go away. This didn't work too well, so I called Lester (and shockingly his worthless fat ass decided to pick up for once) to remove the wanted level. Great. It gets removed, but only for all of two nanoseconds, which did nothing more than "fix" the glitch with the stuck wanted level. So now the cops won't leave me alone since there's about 20 of them (literally) outside the indoors parking lot, so I simply had enough and took my grenade launcher and raised some hell to clear my path. Now I have four stars.

 

So I get the f*ck outta dodge and proceed to escape. I get out of the radius, but as usual the game just spawns two helicopters out of thin air to make sure this arbitrary chase sequence lasts as long as possible, because who really enjoys fun? So I make it to an underground tunnel, and I'm presumably three seconds away from successfully dodging the wanted level. NOPE! Out of nowhere, I get spotted THROUGH THE GODDAMNED WALLS AND FLOOR by some FIB douchebags (either them or one of the helicopters) which just starts the whole damn thing over again. About a minute later I somehow found a decent spot to dodge the cops and evaded the wanted level... Only to immediately get another 1-star wanted level for no reason the moment I left the multi-story carpack I was hiding in, which inevitably turned to two stars for no f*cking reason. So I dodge that and make it to the f*ckin' dealership.

 

Seriously, the sh*t that happens in this game, especially with the wonky wanted level system is just hella annoying. I don't see how something so simple can be so broken so long after the game has launched. Worthless devs.

The Voltic secondary color glitch, I mean I have the WONDERFUL choice of either having an ugly, mismatched red and yellow voltic, or I can have a LOVELY yellow Voltic with an ugly carbon hood and spoiler, FFS R*, you cause more glitches than you patch, IN EVERY SINGLE F****** UPDATE....

The new queue system puts you in an endless loop of queue, full,, queue, full, etc., ad nauseum. Rarely do you get to enter the queue without being told it's full. Seriously, it should be take a number.
