With 1.17, my character depletes Meteorites in inventory upon respawn/return from completion of a mission. WTF is that?!

 

Could this absurdity be another way to force a player to spend more in-game money, however nominal the amount?

No I don't have any, I bought this car and I wanna sell it any tips man?Can't think of any. It may have to do with when you purchased the vehicle. I think somebody on the forums mentioned that if we bought a vehicle between the beginning of GTA Online and a certain patch earlier this year (Business?), we were unable to sell the car. I call BS on you killing all 4 of them before they got you. Plus they wouldn't have sent that text if you outgunned 4 players with a sweeper. Doesn't pass the laugh test.

Playing rooftop rumble with 3 others. I kill the guy with the documents while I am on foot (and collect the documents). All 3 other players approach me in their Zentornos and proceed to run me over until they kill me before I was able to get to my car.

 

It was so hard to keep my cool.

Lvl 100+ tards that seem to think they're something because they can kill new starters..

 

Hatched a new character last night and had two of them attempting to take me out..

 

So I get into a doorway and start slow clapping while they waste hell knows how much ammo on me and attempt to run me over - despite there being a shutter in the doorway to stop the car.. they spent 20 minutes desperate to kill me before one of them got a fire engine, so I changed session.. I think their combined IQ would have struggled to take on an amoeba tbh...

 

Thankfully their names are in my players met list, so I'm going to get my lvl 190 character and go hand their ass to them at some point the future..

Level 179 camping on the rooftop of the LSC killing everyone, every time he dies he goes passive and goes back up only to unpassive when people drop their guard again and again. I got on the Rockford Plaza roof to snipe him off the LSC roof, he went passive, then while following someone and when their back is turned he goes off passive and blasts the dude from behind. meanwhile, im still on the roof and I snipe him the second he kills this random, of course my heavy sniper doesn't kill him and he runs for cover just out of my visible reach. He goes back to passive and presumably continues this forever. I left.

 

Passive Mode needs a timer.

Yeah, that's a thing I disliked as well. I'm all for smooth, fluid animations, but not at the detriment of responsive controls. Many of my deaths came from the terrible controls, like when you're in a boat; I was the passenger in a boat, and I tried to STAND UP so I could use one of my more powerful weapons to take out a helicopter. I press Triangle, and what does my character do? Oh, she just casually SWAN DIVES out of the boat and lands in the middle of nowhere, doomed to be of no use to (what was left of) the team. Tons of stupid things like that happen thanks to the controls.

About a week ago, I blew up TWO personal vehicles of these two idiots that were on my team (I also ran one of them over to kill him, trust me, they deserved it). After I left out of that session and went back to my private one, I got the $2000 good sport bonus, lol. WTF is wrong with this game?

I thought I was the only one who noticed that. I usually keep that complaint on standby tbh. The lag in this game makes everything feel so sluggish. Going back and playing GTA IV feels so snappy & responsive. Red Dead was okay. Max Payne I think started this whole sluggish character thing. Idk.

Sticky bomb them, then. Oh, wait, Rock* puts you into a BS lobby if you do that. Never mind. Wait, I have an idea--buy a Zentorno, and when they reverse up to you, you reverse up to them. Or here's another idea...buy a Zentorno and learn how to drive fast to get away from them. Oh, here's another idea, to help in that effort, go OTR, and for bonus points send mercenaries after them. That'll keep them very very busy. Plus a $10k bounty for good measure.

Passive mode is confirmed broken since the last update. I think when you come out of it, the 9 second timer counts down, but your passive sign doesn't come off until 0:01, which is actually 2 seconds before you can use your weapon wheel. So if someone is passive in front of you, you don't get the 7 or 8 seconds (I subtracted the lag factor) that you used to get to blast them away before they can blast you. This along with returning to insurance payments for exploding people's cars when they are in/near them and bad sport points for that are the 3 absolutely intolerably bad things about this update.

 

By the way, I sticky bombed someone with a bounty, which you can do even if it's their personal car and not get bs and not have to pay insurance...but because they stepped out of their car a split second before I detonated, I got bs (don't think I got insurance at least, so that's good). But still, I just got off my first (and hopefully last) stint in the hell that is BS (2 days hard time).

Stupid player model.

 

I'm playing Pickup Sticks solo and I'm on the first part. I land my helicopter on top and I get spotted. Okay, fine. I try to find a way to get the package while being safe. My player model thinks different. I'm 3 feet away from the edge of the building.

 

This buffoon decides to leap off the building and do the parachute animation.

The player models suck in this game. They're so sluggish and have inconsistent animations. Ragdoling, taking forever to get up, and climbing down a ladder seems to be difficult.
