As entertaining as freeroaming may be, online its almost ran useless. Why is this? Well, because the pressance of police is way too strong. You cant do sh*t without obtaining a wanted star almost instantly. No matter your activity, unless your playing tennis you are contantly running from the cops... It's non stop... The sound effect of sirens... omg... enough already.. give us an option to turn off the sirens at least geez... I do job mission just to get away from the sound of sirens.

 

edit. Not only do they spawn limitlessly... They aim to kill. So your forced to die, or fight. I dont like having to die every 3 minutes because R* made everything we like to do insta-star.

 

Edit2: I would love to duke it out with players on the streets, but its pointless... Both of us end up fighting helicopters.

What I would have done was made a 6 hour break each day called donut hour where players can go nuts and the cops dont do jack, only the military bases would still be active.

Yeah, it's incredibly f*cking stupid. You can shoot an NPC at night time in a dark alleyway with no witnesses and with a suppressed weapon, and you *still* instantly get a wanted level. It's even worse than it was in the old games.

 

I also hate the way it works with Simeon's stupid ass. You can't simply opt out of his stupid vehicle wish-list, so if you just so happen to get inside of a vehicle that he wants, BAM, instant two-star wanted level. What type of crap is that? How the hell do the cops just *know* you're in the vehicle? And how omnipotent are they that they know the reason you're in said vehicle?

 

It would make sense if there was a witness or something who called the cops after seeing you commit a crime, but this game is simply broken. You can blow an NPC's brains out while they're in their car, get inside, and STILL get a text message from their f*cking ghost telling you they put a bounty on you. Seriously, you'd expect better from Rockstar. So much of the sh*t that happens in GTA Online is flat out retarded.

 

@Naroon and @kaindayo, while I completely and thoroughly agree, you've got look at the perspectives of the fox AND the hound.

 

In this case, the fox (us) is willingly engaging in a product (GTAO) designed to make you spend more time in-game AND spend real money.

 

The hound (Rockstar) implemented a presence that ensures you are constantly and regularly spending money (repairing cars, spraying Simeon's cars for $1-2K, medical bills from being killed by cops, impound fees, insurance fees on cars destroyed in impound, ammunition, etc).

 

Of all the games out there that exploit user addiction and leverage microtransactions to keep users hooked, GTA is the most nefarious because they have introduced a product that not only does it incredibly effectively, but with about 20 different ways to do it, the cops being the most insidious.

 

I work for a living, so buying a cash card now and then isn't a big deal. However, I'm always amazed when I see my account go from $1MILL to $800,000 in one session of Free Roam because I joined a crazy session and spend more time battling cops than I do engaged with other players.

 

The solution? Understand the devious nature of this game and either embrace it and stop complaining (my choice) or just shelf the game and play something else that doesn't take such clear and wicked advantage of the weakness of the addicted gamer.

Lol I stay away from public lobbies, so I don't spend much money on stuff like that. I almost solely just do contact missions. But the vast majority of my money (outside of buying properties and vehicles, and weapons) has gone towards buying ammo. I can usually make $150k ~ 200k in one session every time I play from missions, depending on whether or not I get paired up with competent players and if the game actually gives us missions. If it got bad enough to where I had to buy cash cards to keep playing, I'd simply stop playing altogether.

MAPLESTORY will rob you of your life, and wallet. GTAO is nothing compaired to Maplestory. You think game shark cards are bad? I once sold 1 of my 20+ items to a player via payal for $180.00. Anyways, I just think the game would be a little more fun if you can fend off the cops. Make them scared to rival you. I've dropped 100 cops before and they just keep on comming. Totaly fearless. Even The Lost knows when to quite. If I'm going to have to deal with the cops constantly I would like it if I can scare them away instead of playing cat n mouse with a limitless spawning enemy with x-ray vision.

i see the in store assassinations still happen in gtao, today i was using my secondary female character, and i was on my way to my garage in paleto bay in a weasel news van i found (i was going to try to garage it) when i stopped at an amunation gun store to do some shopping.

i was suddenly gunned down hile i was buying armor.

after i respawned he killed me again but after i spawned again i killed him!!

The cool people have better draw distance and better weapon range than the rest of us plebs.

 

For example, to indicate how un-cool I am, my sniper rifle cannot hit the propane tank from just across the GOH from Hookies, in the (now delisted) Dirt Road mission.

Here is another complaint. Player related. I've noticed most players only care about the glory. Very little team work on contract missions. It's all about showing off your fast car and who can blow up the most crap and get to the trucks/drugs first/ It's more like a every man for himself race then a team effort. I'm not impressed with flashy cars, fast cars, or who has the most expensive horn. What impresses me is when 2-3-4 people, without words, or mics, can tacticly rip apart the jobs.

I was with a crew a few days ago and we were on point. No one had mics yet we were communicating via pure skill and situational awareness. It was great. We ripped apart a ton of jobs on Hard, and when the game wouldn't give us any missions, everyone was smart enough to pick a short race mission so we wouldn't get split up into different lobbies. Too bad none of them added me, I don't get into lobbies like that too often, lol.

 

I also get really annoyed with the people trying to show off their stupid supercars (you're not special just because you figured out how to hold down R2, too bad you still don't know how to drive!) and horns and sh*t. Just so needless.

What's the f*cking point of the 1 star level in this game? Stupid cops will ram you to death and shot the second you're in front of them... besides, three seconds you run and you get the 2 stars wanted level. f*cking ridiculous.

 

For example, I'm minding my own business when this dumbass comes in his lime green Entity with lowrider gold rims, he's with a wanted level of at least 4 stars. He comes after me, I get down of my car and wait to kill him because the idiot tried to splat me, easy kill. Now I have 1 star for killing him but the NOOSE is in his stupid Grangers shooting without failing, 2 stars by now. In a corner I tried to escape but this Granger is at speed of light and crashed me in the most annoying way, one of the cops hanging falls and counts as a kill. 3 stars and without fighting back, killing three cops and 4 stars.

I got my hot rods dont get me wrong. I love building a sexy garage with beefy cars. But when I'm on a job, I'm there for one thing, and one thing only. Money... I'm not aiming to impress a pack of virgins... Also I can't stand it when I see a player with a supped up Super Car and he drives like SH*T. When I see a bad driver, its a tall tell sign of a high level noob. Trust me, their out there... I've seen smart level 30's and DUMB level 200's.... I've learned not to judge the skill of a player by their rank or the car he/she drives.

They should re-name the AP Pistol the OP Pistol, because that thing can blow up almost any vehicle in the game in just a few shots if you know where to aim. Makes missions like the ones where you have to blow up garbage trucks and whatnot so much easier and cheaper.

Not everyday. In fact I only ever really visit the Online section to check up on new finds + updates. This was a one off.

I f*cking hate how the game pauses/stutters every time you press down on the dpad now. I do that often to expand the mini-map whilst driving.

 

Has anyone else been noticing the traffic glitch around a lot more often as well? I've been seeing cars spawning out of the air and sometimes they do like 5930491 degree spins in the air and sh*t before they hit the ground. I also did a 1v1 race against a friend, and he literally spawned upside down.

 

GTAO, gotta love it.

I cannot stand the stupidity of some of the players that I complete jobs with. I can handle being an idiot, messing around, making a silly mistake, and I can even tolerate people trolling.

 

However, I need to refrain every fibre of my being when someone does something utterly ridiculous, and actually wastes a lot of my time.

 

For example, one day I was playing Rooftop Rumble, and some moron kept destroying the document. It is like they could not grasp the fact that this could happen, nor that it was their doing. I was legitimately considering finding my microphone and verbally abusing the perpetrator. A kid who sounded no older than 10 was even complaining.

 

And a couple of days ago, I join some mission where you need to silence one of Madrazo's guys by breaking into Zancudo. What happens, you ask? One guy steals a jet, and flies off to complete the mission. I however, decided to be the nice guy and let the other two guys take the two remaining jets that are close by. They then proceed to f*cking crash into eachother before they even got off of the ground. So then, there I was, stranded in a military base with two incompetent idiots waiting for another plane to spawn (I had to just leave the session after 15 minutes). The first guy, who completed half the mission, just decided to chill.

One thing I could never deal with was the fact that these N.O.O.S.E. agents can hang onto a Granger traveling 50+ MPH hitting turns that physically defy the rules of gravity and inertia.

 

Then on top of that, they can easily just get off without no whiplash or dizziness. This game doesn't know what it wants to be.

I'll have to disagree. I'm glad they punshish dirty fighters like you. It puts a smile on my face everytime some talenless noob with a stick bomb blows up my XF because I know I won the battle. Even rockstar agree's. Stick bombing is a pathedic way to fight, and thus your punished for being a doushe. Sticky bombing is like punching the air with your eyes closed and your face turned the other way... It's really pathedic, and nobody like it when people bich out. Thats what sticky bombing is... It's just another way of Biching out. It keeps the trolls and doushe bags at bay. 1 Up for Rockstar.

Nice fire rate, Good damage. Decent accuracy. It's way better then the Uzi. I wish it had 60 rounds though. That would be sweet. The fire rate is so good you spend more time reloading then firing it.

I understand how "u mad bro" when 5 seconds after you start chasing and shooting me (the manly, non-douchey way???) I detonate the sticky bomb I just placed on an NPC vehicle as you drive past it, exploding you, your precious POV, and all of your hopes and dreams with it. Noob.

When I join my own mission in my own car, don't spawn me OUTSIDE of it and across the street! FFS! It's bad enough they took away the mission warp that put you within shout distance of your first objective.
