GTA race should be a minimum of 3 laps.

I set three laps on a race I'd never done - I forget the name of it - and it turned out to be a real long lap. People were not happy, (and neither was I). Also, some people aren't really into races and just want to grind them to open paint colors. No sense torturing them while you have the ability to set the number of laps.

I was floating idly around in my Buzzard watching what people were up to when I noticed a high rank player spawn killing a couple of level fives in his Zentorno, so I sent a mugger after him to help them out a bit. It worked as the mugger dragged him out of his car and drove off, I lolled.

 

He went into his apartment after that and I assumed he'd sent the mugger after me in retribution so I thought I'd troll him a bit. I flew up the map looking for a low building to land on so I could watch the mugger try and fail to get me and eventually found one that was too high to climb up.

 

I was pretty surprised to see the mugger, metres below me on the ground, do the robbing animation into thin air, and then teleport upwards into my Buzzard, leaving me sprawled on the ground.

 

I didn't realise muggers had superpowers but I do now.

That's actually very interesting. Also, good to know.

Long story short, I was dominating a lobby , wasn't using a tank or jet either, just guns and skill.

Long story short, it got to the point where one of them invited a modder to join the lobby.

Next thing I know 3 of them go invisible so I had no clue were they were, they would stand right in front of me and try shoot me but they were invisible so I couldn't see them.

 

I was trying to outsmart them the whole time, I wouldn't let them take my pride.

Finally after a stand off of 30 mins, they used the mod to blow me up even if I was in passive mode, no matter where I was.

 

The moral of this moaning is

f*ck anyone who is a modder and only uses it to kill people.

They need to remove K/D from freemode... My 1.93 primarily came from deathmatches, and it got slaughtered by jet griefers and Zentorno trolls. Now I dropped down to 1.83 in just the past week because of FM.

That's why you should look at the race details, it tells you the exact length of the track so you can set an appropriate number of laps...

I'm going to sound entitled, but we're long overdue for a bug-fixing patch. I don't care about content, I just want a patch that fixes the game's functionality... Minus the character/progress disappearing bugs, I much prefer vanilla GTAO, pre-November.

"Sort of" agree with livejoker, but I will admit that early on, I did this purely to get an award. Something I'm not overly proud of, but won't deny.

 

If I cop one now, I usually call in a friend to cap me. If they're low on dosh, it's their's, other than that we'll split it. If a friend gets one, I'll offer to off them & will give them the cash.

What I don't understand;

 

In the Spring, Rockstar promise that Heists are coming. They then release High Life, Hipster, Independence and Flight School updates. Ask people why Rockstar are working on DLC instead of Heists and the standard answer is that DLC is easy and quick to produce so requires little effort on Rockstar's part.

 

Assuming that is true, why is there no update this month to celebrate the 1 year anniversary? If it is quick and easy to produce, why haven't they?

 

If it's not that easy after all then doesn't that prove Rockstar have been intentionally delaying Heists for next gen? By allocating resources to DLC production when they promised Heists were next that shows they had no intention of a Spring release, and the DLC has been a way to pacify us until next gen and Heists are eventually co-released?

Didn't mind when he died during 'Fuelling the Flames' and I had to finish the objective, it's no big deal. Then, however, we end up doing 'Crank Up the Volume' and suddenly he turns into a total c*nt.

 

I chase the RV, shoot the NPCs out of it and start to drive it toward the delivery marker - so far so good - and the idiot starts shooting the hell out of the RV while I'm driving it. What the actual f*ck? Guy keeps ramming and shooting me, this culminates in me being killed by backup on their motorcycles, at which point my team mate blows up the RV.

You're not kidding. how often have cars turned into you on a race even when there is no turning for them to turn into?

 

When this happens in freemode I always chase them down and slow kill them!

Ran into a player in free aim using god mode (no surprise there) I was in my tank trying to destroy his but I was too late because ANOTHER player in god mode sticky bombed my target tank on foot.

 

So I messaged my target asking why he was using God mode. He brags about his K/D. His response below (read at your own risk)

365 Days since the release of gta online and only things that have changed and been added was cars, guns and property..... That most people got bored with after about a week and in special cases a few days. Most things that was tweaked or changed was done to boost cash card sales chart... Most greedy thing they did was disable replay for missions and just other greedy things although they did add on helpful new abilities and stuff but other than that there has been no game changing content only 3 modes in creator... No new game mode nothing...... And the one thing they keep lying about and seems like they refuse to release is you guessed it! HEISTS good job rockstar... Now I'm off to play Forza Horizon 2

I was in an open lobby yestersay, saw a guy with a bounty shooting other players trying to claim it. I flew up to a roof and shot him with a heavy sniper. Hit marker but he didn't die. Shot him a second time, still didn't die. He started coming towards me and somehow made it up to the top of the building without a helicopter? I jumped down to ground level and waited for him, started unloading on him with a minigun as he ran towards me with a knife, unfazed, and killed me. God mode.

 

Different lobby, 30 minutes later. I was up on a roof with a friend watching people below. I saw a high level guy chasing a lower level guy and killing him over and over. Pulled out my heavy sniper, head shot. Nothing.. shot hit 3 more times while he stood there before he figured out where I was. He then jumped on a bati and started his way towards me. I jumped in my helicopter and started flying away. I was then EJECTED a mile into the sky out of my helicopter and died. He then started chasing me on his bati while shooting rpgs, yes... shooting rpgs while driving a motorcycle. Worse then God mode.
