I need to dump items from my 111 because I think my huge inventory is causing lag.

It be kind of a shame to put it through the grinder.

Of course if you would like to donate any old legendary garbage you have for it that'd be fine to.

There was a issue reported on twitter for ps4 users last night for login issues so maybe that was causing lag issues.

You already have me in your list. Hit me up sometime. [Mr. Scratch]

Excellent! Sounds like a good plan! I'm up for it!

Scratch, I remember we played something together online, think it was GTA V, we have to do it again.

And Trip, would love to join you. Been buddies for years on XBL but don't think we played together...yet!

I actually did the intro last night. Quite surprised. I might be easily impressed by graphics as I'm not a graphics whore by any means, but  I think the game is beautiful. As far as an online game goes, it does paint a narrative that got me interested in the world and to explore. Might have paid too much attention to those YouTubers that are constantly bashing it. It's early days but my initial first impression is great. I've decided I'll buy the game.

Well it may or may not be my inventory. I was getting it on another character but they're encumbered aa well. Just not as much.

I'll have to hop on my 30 and see if I get it there too.

I don't know for your region, but check your PSN Store manually. For my case, there is a new item in the Add-On section called E3 Bonus Atom Bundle. It shows the bonus atom and the battlecoat in the thumbnail.

thanks for pointing that out. Yeah that did the trick.

I think they also moved some previously side missions across to main missions due to there size and complexity. Exploring is a big part of it as sometimes theres no directions to grab main missions.

As an example me amd my wife were just looking for resources and she noticed a note on a toilet wall read it and bang we got a mission from it so you really have to search for some of these. I had been through 3 character playthroughs and never once seen the note on the wall.

Nice to see you opened your mind to the wasteland.  I'm glad I stopped dealing with anything game review related after the print industry died.  Today's world is too blind mob controlled.

I hope the new folks don't have too many world spoilers thanks to YT and such.  As much as early people take Whitespring for granted...you have to admit when you first stumble upon it you are like "what the f*ck"?  How about the first time you have to run from a scorchbeast?

So much sh*t to stumble upon.

So much sh*t to learn.

Yeah. Only last week I found a cave at Spruce Knob Lake. It's a BOS camp with two holotapes inside. One of them also contains report that New York just got nuked.

Thanks to my hellish career existence and some crazy sh*t...last night is the first time I've been able to jump in for any quality time in a bit.

Thanks to the e3 week access...

I enjoyed the fact that low level players were actually new players and just not lvl200s firing up and alt character.

I had some hilarious moments where I know they felt awkward.

I was so busy this weekend too. I jumped on stealthily last night in "Offline" mode because I wasn't feeling very social. Was pretty zonked. Still managed to get through the first few opening introductory quests. Ran in to my first few people online. It was great not getting attacked. Instead we helped each other kill a common enemy. Hope to see more of that. At one stage I came across a guy at level 100+. He had a big shotgun. I had my crappy pipe bolt pistol. I took a chance and just put my weapon away to show I'm friendly. And he didn't blow my head off lol :D

I actually bought the game too and it was only €25 used. Not bad.

I'm going to try jump on for a couple of hours later. I'll be open to playing with others. I'll be on between 20:30 and 23:00 GMT.

You definitely will. That's how we roll. You might run into bored dicks some time, but I can safely say they do not represent the majority of the Adventure/PvE players.

So long you are in Adventure, you'll be fine. Switch to Survival, then it will be Fallout-themed GTA Online.

If you're not interested in PvP anyway, then open your map, press L1 (I believe it's LB in Xbox), Options, Gameplay, Pacifist Mode: ON. It will remove player-related damage other than environmental impact, such as vehicle explosion. This Pacifist Mode will be automatically disabled under a certain condition that puts you into PvP.

Has any of you new player, who suddenly take a liking and play the game, being called "Bethesda Bot" or "paid by Bethesda" - especially after you said something like "I shouldn't have listened to the crowd/Youtubers" (which is a common thing for new players to say) ? lol. If you haven't, then don't be surprised the next time you get called out. The crowd from the other side of the fence are very - and even more vicious after the last week Trial's influx of new players joining for good and the hike of positivity. Just sayin'.

I don't pay attention that that stuff, really. There were legitimate gripes with Bethesda's handling of the launch of Fallout 76 and now there are huge improvements. But what also stopped me from playing sooner was, I tried Elder Scrolls Online and didn't like it. They changed the user interface to something grotesque to me and it was weird watching others going along doing quests at the start. It lacked in any feeling of being immersive. I know it probably would have got better gameplay-wise but the I just couldn't look past the initial flaws I found with it.  I'm just saying this in case there's anyone reading here that might think toxic like that. ;)

If people actually believe there are people being paid by Bethesda to play Fallout 76 as apposed to people actually being swayed over by the addition of things like human NPC's returning and a return to more classic dialogue-tree features, they can go live on an island with anti-vaxxers and flat-earthers. I've no time for time for them. :D

Personally, I  wouldn't call it a "sudden liking to the game" either. Been a fan of Fallout for a few years now. Skeptical of online multiplayer game versions of traditionally single-player games - absolutely. I bought this game for €23 and some members in here are playing it since day one. Can't be that bad. So I thought I'd dip my toe at a free trial and was pleasantly surprised.

Had someone drop me 10 fusion cores last night allbeit i was down to my last 18 anyway but it was a good gesture so i dropped him 10 super stimpacks in return had 40 of those and 120 normal stimpacks. I highly recommend having the luck card 80 percent chance to seach for more stimpacks in containers. Also the chem card that will give you 2 chems when you craft any chem recipe, mix that with the luck card super duper and when you've the ingridients for stimpacks you've a chance of getting 4 stimpacks for every 1 you craft. The same happens for if you can craft blood bags witch is one of the ingridients for stimpacks. My advice for new starters is try and save every bloodbag you find comes in handy when you get the stimpack recipe later game.

I'm still not 100% sure of the card/perk system but I've just been pumping it in to Intelligence and Luck. Luck for me In F4 was a lifesaver. I always had plenty of ammo and stimpacks.

Work day so I couldn't play much.

Finally building my excavator PA on one of my other characters, grinding for rubber and black titanium.

I had seen a daily for NW and thought I could use a NW card pack, it didn't work though, bugged.

I decided to play solo, I'm not going to drag a team down while I work on my skills, not do I want someone raging because I cost them the match (if anything I'm usually the last one alive)

I took pics in 51 first but that didn't work. I forgot to try during the match.

On the second match I did my secret Helvetia overlook spawn. I got a lame scoped pipe rifle this time around, I got a scoped lever previously.

I take my 3 pics and no luck again. While I was in menu, I noticed the next circle was way across the map. I heard the circle closes slowly. I should be fine.

I see the 2 players that spawned in town so I aim for one of their heads. I got 2 or 3 hits in but only got him 2/3rds down. Both turned and ran off. I didn't want to be flanked so I beat a tactical retreat.

Then I get the notice the circle is closing but hey, it closes slowly so I wanted to move around the perimeter, going to the circle indirectly. That's always my tactic, work the perimeter, soften the targets.

SONUVA!!! They lied. I couldn't sprint fast enough to keep in the circle.

As I desperately run I come across 2 players doing the same. I wasn't going to male it so I took some shots at one of them. He dips in a gully but he doesn't come out. I figure he's waiting for me so I creep over the crown only to find him downed. I go to shoot him and now I'm downed because of circle damage. Tally comes up and I didn't get the kill. Dammit.

So today's lesson. The circle's speed is dependant on how far it needs to go.

Yeah, I truly believe in that card as Well as scrounger and butcher's bounty for ammo and meat off of creature kills.

I don't care for can do, the buff you get from cooked meat is a huge reason why.

I got the carnivore mutation on one of my characters so that helps out massively.

I would recommend getting your luck up to 8 so you can have bloody mess rank3, starched genes rank2 and class freak rank3.

These are highe lvl perks 30+ so you don't need to care about them now but putting a point in luck from time to time is good so when you are high enough lvl you can get those perks.

Luck is a fun special it have some cool perks like mysterious stranger and tormentor, but those are not really important.

If you are going for a stealth sniper build luck is good for critical shot regen, one of my characters have max luck and can do critical every third shot which sounds great on paper but once you get a good gun you really don't need criticals that much and 8 luck fills critical fast enough.

Intelligence, I'm not sure. I guess it's good for heavy gun PA builds, I don't use any of those.

I recommend 5 intelligence, so you can get max gunsmith and makeshift warrior depending on what build you are going for.

One of my characters have gunsmith rank2 and makeshift warrior rank3 equipped and have both cards at rank5 to swap for crafting, it works pretty well.

You also need fix it good and weapon artisan perks, but those can be swapped in when you repair, no need to have them equipped.

*edit*

To answer the above.

Not sure if pharma farma is actually worth spending luck points.

Why would someone need 120 stimpaks? Sure stims are important when you are low level but when you are lvl 15 you should have enough.

To be honest I don't use more than 1-3 stimpaks every play session and I pick up 10, so I sell them which is good caps but seriously 120 stimpaks?

Better to spend those luck points on class freak and get healing factor mutation, you won't need stims with that, only in extreme situations.

I carry around 10-15 stims and after every session I have a ton to sell. :)

But then maybe you are some crazy berzeker type that run into fights naked and have to spam 30-40 stims to stay alive. lol

just kidding mate. ;)

Well i don't personally do much of the food side of things so stims is my only form of health regen really. I only have 4 perk points in luck and i swap out the card stacks when im crafting or out in the wild that way I'm not wasting my points by having cards equipped that don't do anything for me. I regulary play with my mrs and my friend so having spares is always handy. I normally put 50 up for sale in my shop and they've proven quite popular someone brought the whole stack at once the other evening so really i only keep 50 for myself the 120 is what i logged off at yesterday after an evening in the wastelands.

As for inteligence i maxed that out purely becuause its linked with alot of the crafting stuff but then you could just put 5 points into it and swap out the card stacks.

But then again once you hit level 50 anything after that gives you the option to swap a point or choose a mew perk card for your deck so all stats are changeable as long as you put the time in to level up.

Also thumbs up for page 76!!!!

Yay!! Page 76, didn't even see that. :)

Get good doggy perk and you won't have to worry about food ever again.

And Cola nut perk give more health faster than stims, and it quench thirst, put nuka cherry in your quick wheel and you are ready to go.;)

4 points in luck? Do you have any mutations? 4 points seem a little low for a mutant. The class freak perk is pretty much mandatory for mutants.

For example -1 str is better than -4 str, max hp -12 is better than -50 etc. :)

And the +15% damage for all weapons with bloody mess is not to bad either.

Stimpaks sell for decent caps at vendors with hard bargain perk.

So I rather sell them there for quick caps instead of waiting for someone to buy them, also they weigh 1 in your stash so again 120? ;)

I would say that when you are around lvl 70-75 you should have the perks you need, after that you could start thinking about swapping special points.

At lvl 50 you just maxed out your special, better to get important cards like weapon artisan or something and then think about special imo.

To be fair, in regards of this game too, I'm sure everyone of us who play wouldn't look past or forget the horrible stuff either. I myself had my PS4 frozen and turned the TV into checkboard back in Dec; I still keep the photo in my phone lol. But there is a difference between the people who move on and the people who just stir and bash at both the game and the players.

Just a moment earlier, I opened their Twitter (in case there's new Inside the Vault) and found them Liked somebody's gameplay clip that says he's enjoying the game and the community. Then of course some people just HAD to sh*t on the party saying it's a waste of $60 and many people hate the game. What's the point of this type of crowd? 💩 They just want the game to die while busy convincing people that the game is dead. The tweet's OP is cool though; he says that people are so busy hating the game and telling him the game sucks, so he's aware of the whole situation and here too I'm just reminding y'all the new players (of FO76) that you might be facing that kind of behavior, but you won't be the only one facing that alone. :colgate:

Here you have Mysterious Savior and Serendipity. You're almost invincible with these two.

And Super Duper. Great perk for crafting. Give you chance to produce double.

Considering Pharma Farma is good to find extra chem/aid and like you said, we probably don't need, we instead could sell them for decent Caps.

Yeah, I forgot super duper that is one of the best perks in the game, but not important for a low level player.

Don't remember when it unlocks but I'm pretty sure it's a high lvl perk, 30+ or something.

Low level players find enough guns to scrap on enemies for mods.

It becomes important at higher lvls when you craft stable flux and rare weapons like handmades, lever guns and energy weapons for scrapping to get mods.

It is a crafting perk though, so it don't need to be equipped when you are not using it, just like weapon artisan and fix it good, so it don't really take up any luck points.

I think in terms of my perk loadout i certainly fall into the category of jack of all trades master of none lol. Im kind of lazy when it comes to builds I'm just happy wondering about crafting and exploring kill the odd scorchbeast here and there and launch a few nukes earn dem caps.

If anything after reading alot of your perk loadouts allthough at first i found the new system fairly limiting it's pretty obvious that it does allow for many different playing styles as between us we vary wildly.

Anyone point me in the direction of a good guide/video online for a newb like me? Main issues I'm coming across is lack of water, stimpacks and bullets. Yeah, I know it's a survival game and that's the point would love some tips for securing my future in the wasteland by making some right moves early on to make sure I'm set up.

I haven't really decided on a build, yet.  Been mostly levelling up Intelligence and Luck. Wouldn't mind building an Entrepreneur character. Found this one here...

For those who'd like a future as an entrepreneur, take a look at this build. Specifically crafted for trading gear and materials to other players, this build helps to craft high-quality items that you can sell for a pretty penny - er, bottlecap.

First thing todo is collect lots of water then boil it up, collect the blue soot flowers and also the red things that float on lilly pad esque things in rivers. You can then craft healing slaves using a chemistry bench they're a good place to start as stimpacks can be an arse to find. Also collect anything with steel in it and also lead, paint cans are good for this you can then craft the ammo you need for your weapons of choice using a tinkers workbench.

Ignore the title of the video you will only find the small purifer plans there but it's a start.
