You got grognak to i only got mine from the legendary vendor the other day it did a few play sessions including a nuke then broke. But it does seem to break quicker than others perhaps you forgot to equip the perk cards that make it break less?

Yes, for me CAMP and train station for a pause. Anywhere else, I have to be ready to come back with my character's ass pointed up facing the sky.

The character that needs to do it is in Charleston where I did it with another. Just jump off the bridge that spans from the Herald to the other building into the stream below. Its the perfect height just to render us incapacitated

So close to finishing up the Scouts.  Those world challenge are a pain in the ass.  Repair a crossbow 3 times?  Takes forever for a crossbow to get to a point of repair.  Although...I now enjoy using the crossbow.

dah.  Bashing baddies with the crossbow is the best way to accelerate needing repair.  Yay.

I just found other crossbows and repaired them

 

I've been buying too much lately. I got an explosive harpoon because someone said it was fun. I bought an assassins tesla right before finding an anti-armor tesla at the same vendor/different machine. A vampire's ripper because I really want a good ripper (I miss my harvester) 

 

The last vendor I went to had a really well done camp. They integrated an existing raider windmill and built upon it. They had pretty much any camp decoration that you could think of.

Last night I did and completed Project Paradise with two randoms (we duo it mostly).

 

First we focused on feeding the Fragrant-something and went up to Grade 3. From that, we got Glowing Yao Guai ally while other biomes had friendly Mirelurk spawned. Then for whatever reason, that Yao Guai just run around and kept itself in the lab room near the terminal we activate the project from; had to protect it from Charred Ghouls. Alpha Fog Crawler came and so did the second random guy. We killed it, but I didn't get any Plan or Recipe.

 

But at least it's a Yao Guai.

Did Project Paradise a few times, got a 1* handmade +night damage, 3* assault rilfe, scrapped them both for legendary scrips. got another left marine arm, man i really need a marine right leg...

When i went to get the mission to get the nuke card i also found a player drop in the armory at WSB with a full set of mods for the X01 power armour just lying on the floor needless to say i nabbed them all up so im sorted when i get that armor.

Boy am I glad camp trolling has been more restricted because I went straight up a**hole with my vending. 

 

To be honest, it's worth 10k to me for my Fasnacht masks and plans. If it isn't to others I can decorate my camp with them later. 

 

Still I trolled by putting the Fasnacht analysis and some random notes at 10k as well as Sir Hopperton B Jumpin, my captured frog. 

 

But ultimately I didn't have the nerve. I set my whole shop up to a switch and turned it off. If someone turns it on they deserve to be trolled. 

 

All I really.wanted to do is sell my known plans. Those I just put at value since it's cheaper than what they sell for.

I keep selling these marine armor helmets, not the gimp ones, for 100 caps each in of my vendor machines, the great thing is they have a 100% learn rate, if you scrap them you learn the plan for the helmet always. 

 

Funny this helmet doesn't exist on consoles. It's very popular ppl just keep buying it.

Bethesda was nice enough to put 320mbs of game data on the xbox blue ray for me. Just be thankful that you wont be hit by another patch of 50gb 3 days after downloading 50gb in the first place.

I'm actually curious how many GB of update someone has to download now. The total data of the game currently is 60GB-something.

I'm enjoying the game so far, although I barely feel like I've scratched the surface. It was definitely wise to go in to this game not expecting it to be like any of the previous Fallouts, because it's vastly different despite being in the same sort of universe. I'm still getting used to it. I'm really liking the world from what I've seen. Feels way more polished now than the way it looked at Launch gameplay videos, which were a complete buggy mess.

 

I can see this being a game I sink a lot of hours in to.

For my first 50-something levels, I completely avoided using power armor. Wanted to have a nice set of armor, upgrading it as I go, keeping it light and mobile in line with my sneaking build.

 

The I finally finished the Garrahan mining quest, got my first power armor and it's just... so much nicer! Now I can fast travel directly to the SBQ event, without having to stop and prepare myself first. And don't need to worry about bungling up my sneaking anymore, or running away from scorchbeasts. And can actually carry more stuff, so I bring in 4 guns instead of the standard 2. Power Armor for life!

I'm a PA when needed guy.  I love my polished metal armor and fruit hat.  I feel loose and free.

 

But I actually stopped in to relay a story of just now.

 

I'm going to start with a crappy picture to illustrate a point.

 

 

Not sure if you can read the text but it is the event The Messenger with 1 minute and 3 seconds left.

 

Here's the thing.  I'm not a big fan of The Messenger event and pretty much only do it if there is nothing else going on.  It's slow,  long, boring,  and generally "uneventful".  There have been too many times where I've had to bail out completely because he gets stuck somewhere.

 

Holy sh*t...if I would have known this run was going to be like it was I would have recorded it.

 

Keep in mind I have level 3 perk cards to keep my weopons from breaking and I left with a fresh Anti-armor Grognak's axe(lvl50*),All Rise(lvl40**),and a Vampire's pickaxe(lvl15*).

 

All 3 of my melee weopons were broken by the time I finished.

 

No sh*t...it was wave after wave of lvl 68 super mutants.  And I'm not talking waves of 2 or 3 mutants...it was a minimum of 6 to a pack, and there were usually 2 to 3 packs each fu king wave.  And when it wasn't high level mutants, it was super high level wolves.

 

And when I thought it might be close to the end...it felt like 100 f*cking miners attacking.

 

We actually made it with like 3 seconds to spare.  I have that pic too.

Got a lot of things last night both from loots and player vending. Upgraded some armor parts that now my fashion looks retarded again with Raider Chest and Combat Armor limbs combination. Had to sacrifice a total of 40% weapon weight reduction.

 

Then considering I bought Anti Armor Pump Shotgun from player vending and have collected a lot of Shells, I switched my Perk again for full rank Shotgun + rank 3 Heavy Gunner, using that Resolute Veteran gatling gun. It easily wrecks Mr Gutsy.

 

I also unloaded some things to level 3 and 5 players. Don't know if they were new players or just alts. But when their Heart emote wasn't enough, they expressed their utmost gratitude by rapidly teabagging me.

Dood should have invited me! I have this badass legendary tesla rifle that deals 30% more damage on super mutants. With the tesla arcing effect... They'd be dead meat!

Wait. Did you mean you sacrificed TO GET 40% weapon weight reduction? Because wwr is one of the best secondary/tertiary perks. If you sacrificed that, I have to know what it was sacrificed for. 

 

I want a legendary pump shotty because I want classic weapons such as that. The anti-armor prefix is what I think I want so good get niko.

I got a couple pieces of wwr myself including a god roll, wwr, weightless and strength metal chest. 

 

I got Grognak's axes for all my other characters. An instigating, a bloodied and a furious. 

 

I got a bloodied gauss, an anti-armor tesla (right after I got an assassin's from the same vendor. I wish they had a return policy. Lol)  a hunters harpoon with explosive as a secondary because I heard explosive harpoon with flechettes are the sh!t. 

 

Edit: I think I got an explosive gatling too

Yeah i must admit that is what i was like until i got that excavator power armor. But my one bain with this game is once you hit over level 25 i think all normal armor needs bloody balistic weave to fix it i think that's one sh*tty gameplay mechanic. By all means introduce a new type of armor that requires it but dont charge me that sh*t for old plans of armor it sucks.

I replaced both of my raider and light combat armor leg armors with WWR for Vanguard heavy combat armor legs (3* but I don't remember the rest of the bonuses).

 

Basically I'm aiming for the High Condition rate because the previous ones break all the time. I'm still keeping them though just in case. 40% total of WWR is great for weapon farming.
