I don't have the game installed yet. I want to know if cheats work before I install.

No. Cheats were removed from the Mobile Game, to reduce memory expenses.

There may be Mods available to put some back in.

Check the modding forums for that.

The old style button cheats still exist in mobile versions of San Andreas, but I doubt it's possible to activate them using a keyboard - I think the hashes were removed. However, there's a Cleo for Android tool that can activate them.

Not quite. There's an app that's called J cheater or some sh*t like that on the playstore that allows the user to in-put all cheats with the keybord. For android users that is. The same with III and VC. LCS for mobile seems to be the only one without any cheats whatsoever. Not too sure about IOS users. Edited May 24, 2018 by Big_Smiley

The most that you can do with a keyboard is either crouching when aiming a sniper rifle without being able to shoot or glitching your camera out.

 

If you are willing to use mods or external applications, this topic would be quite complex.

 

 

The game's data files share exactly the same structure as their PC equivalent and modding is as simple as downloading and placing them in Android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/files/data. Please be aware that CLEO mods and save files use different structures and their PC counterparts are not compatible unless you are an expert in converting the files. Even if you are an expert, the conversion of save files from PC to Mobile is too complex.

 

JCheater: San Andreas Edition is a ripoff unless you want riots in Los Santos and infinite body armor. Since it's just a save editor and not actual cheats, you are better off with the save editor from X3T-Infinity. Be aware that only your coordinates, limited health level, money, clock time, clock speed, and garages vehicles can be modified with this save editor. If your game lacks basketballs or pool table players, GTASnP will fix that when you upload and download your save file.

 

OrionSR has some knowledge about editing saves. He uploaded a unique starter save but I couldn't find the thread. If you find it, all of the GTASnP links are dead. Fortunately, his starter save was on a different site that may still work.

Upon your request, I can pass you my save file, which has the effects of more CLEO mods than I can identify due to the fact that it was already modified when I downloaded it from GTASnP. 

Some CLEO mods can have their effects saved on a save file. Examples include adding BETA map icons, adding more gang turfs, and oening all interiors in the game.

 

If you find the mod that adds more parked cars such as all airplanes on all airports and the open interiors mod that gets saved on save files, please send me a message with the information.

 

This has nothing to do with your problem but if you find the mod that makes ambulances and fire trucks arrive on the Android version, please also notify me about that too.

I hate j cheater I'm using a none rooted apk on note 9 almost all mods work except heavy ones an rare crash .  I ordered the controller for android phones off of wish.  I hope theres an update for j cheater an rock star adds coop to android like ps2 an pc

In GTA III and VC you use keyboard

But in SA you have a checklist of cheats, so if you want the weapons, unlimited health, no cops, and riot mode

You choose the save file, check the above, save cheats, reload game

 

LCS and CTW both are without cheat codes in mobile

Sa mobile use Xbox 360 version if i aint wrong,and the game gets kinda f*cked up when i try to write a cheat code on a bluetooth keyboard
