This is just taking the pi** at this stage. The only thing R* will say is "we are aware of the issue" and direct you to a "Status Update" page which, of course, isn't updated.

Come on rockstar - maybe this is a wake up call to get you to fix your garbage serve- err, online infrastructure so that it actually works as intended for once.

Over 36 hours now. This is the worst since launch?

I wouldn't mind the downtime as much if they weren't being so c*ntish about it. Saying players can log on now without issue (12 hours ago) which obviously not true and providing what is basically a dead link in reply to people.

 

A simple update or explaination would go a long way.

Not for PS4, it's been down for multiple days before (when they tried to fix the inactive profile glitch)

Wow... 2 days without online. I am a loyal player like the rest of you, and I use my Playstation Plus pretty much for GTAO. Gimme a break. Server issues. It happens to the best of them. Yeah it sucks for me, it sucks for you, but please give R* a break... I mean come on. Really... Let's suppose... Any real life event could have happened to you that prevented you from playing GTA online for 2 days, and you would've been in the same situation. I'm not trying to be rude about it but come on. You know this is arguably one of the best games of all time, if not the best. I think I can let them get away with having a few days of downtime. Thank you R* for giving us an awesome game.

So I bought a new computer for $2500 a couple of days ago... just to have this issue when I'm trying to game.. wth Rockstar!

 

I'm kind of happy I found out everyone else is having these problems before I messed up my network/router settings too much..

$667 for the gpu, $246 for the memory.

 

GeForce GTX 1080 8GB and Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 16GB (2x8GB) / 2666MHz / DDR4 / CL16 / CMK16GX4M2A2666C16.

 

Like a dream compared to what I used to have, but that still managed to run GTA V/Online just fine until like a year ago.

The servers are still flaky. It's now been 24 hours since I first came across problems.

 

I couldn't start or join any adversary modes or deathmatches. Freeroam is boring as f*ck.

 

Crappy potato servers. Upgrade them already. They can't handle 30 people even at the best of times.

They just told me this: "Players should be able to log in to GTA Online without issue at this time. We are still experiencing some minor issues with certain features. Most services should be working fine, but you might notice some error messages or slow load times, mostly with User Generated Content. Thank you for your continued patience."

I've seen "down" a few times, but I would argue that it should be "f*cked" most of the time since the servers truly are.

Everything works again for me at least on PC. Sold all my MC stuff. Seems we get a second week of double bonus for MC businesses and hangar sales.

 

Then we get the Jester Classic next week yay. Im gonna buy it even if it looks weird. :D

Well, that's just not true Rockstar...

nothing worse than someone thanking you for your patience. When people say that it makes me wanna hand them a bill for my time and reply "take your time, I accept cash or debit".

So it just seems the Social Club is completely borked right now, and everything else is working as normal.

 

Perchance they fix the SC in the next couple hours we'll get the new week+cars. It's crazy how Rockstar is completely silent about this too, not even commenting on a lack of a Tuesday update.

The 40% discount on the Hydra and the double RP/$ for the Trap Door modes also applies.
