The former is the best dogfighter in the game; the latter is a competent bomber and is better than average in dogfights (I think? Because its so agile). Both have 2 seats. The Rogue has also a explosive mg (even if its worse than the Hydras or the Lazers). And both have bombs. But the Rogue is way cheaper. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bomb + extra seat, there's only one option for ya: Western Rogue. It's also a decent dogfighter once you manage to get used to the odd way it flies. Easy to fly, easy to land, can easily take out grifing jets, two seats but no bombs If you are a good pilot you can try Starling. Its like a oppressor with wings. You need time to master it tho. If you haven't got the hangar yet pyro or rogue might not be worth it, since pyro is not that amazing against ground target while rogue is mediocre against air and you need high skill to make it good against ground. Also, if you are thinking about buying hangar, buy one of the fort zancudo one. You'll get unlimited supplies of lazer, which is hydra but more agile. It's mainly for missions both in freemode and in closed sessions like heists and CMs. I had one on PS3 and used to dive bomb as my main tactic for taking down targets. It was so satisfying to hit them before they could even see it coming! Funny you mention the Rogue, it actually was the plane I was intending to buy before this discount on the Hydra came. Lazer offers a nice balance between anti-ground and air-to-air, with its acceptable maneuverability and explosive cannons. Explosive snipers remain its biggest threat though. BOOGIEMAN219 Posted May 19, 2018 Share Posted May 19, 2018 (edited) I have a starling and I think its harder to handle than a Rogue, the Piro is the most agile fighter in the game and too me its like a more agile better handling rogue and its quite good against the deluxo/oppressor once you know how to counter them. I mainly fly rogue for dogfighting and air to ground although the missle spam on starling/piro can also be good very good air to ground, I go to my piro when imup against a very good pilot. Yes the hydra is good for headhunter and I think it would serve better in your situation the Rogue imo is better for pvp. Don't get the hydra for dogfighting.
