Do contact missions no longer allow businesses to build up?

I am positive that previously doing contact missions allowed currently running businesses to build their product, but today I did a few and came back into a lobby and had zero progress.

Has it changed?

Your missions should be longer than 4 or 7 minutes, can't say exactly. Someone will correct me.

No Use For A Name

They do, but only when youre actually playing the mission. They dont produce in loading screens etc

Thanks lads. I actually played for an hour and my bunker never produced and when I came back in, the supplies that I bought for my coke lab only popped as having been delivered once I had lobbied in after an hour of contacts.

Always stay in freeroam until they arrive. Ive had problems with them never showing up after going into jobs. Also, never buy them and start a sale before they arrive. Lost supplies that way as well.

7 for bunker, and 30 min for most interesting MC businesses. Idk for weed/forged docs they suck ass.

Best is to play long contact missions, though 30 min is a lot. Maybe playing playlists doesn't interrupt production, but I doubt.

Edit: well, apparently Its 30min for cocaine only, less for other MC businesses.

I play a mission playlist two times a day and before starting, I buy supplies for my bunker. Research - similar to production, goes well. That 15 mission playlist is done in 1.5h, so after playing that, I fasttrack the rest for a couple bucks. Works well here.

Not sure if it still works but technically you could exploit the arrival of stock for Bunkers via Contact Missions.

- Order a small restock/ $15,000ish or a minimum cost.

- Start a Contact Mission & find a way to afk in it.

- Let your Bunker build stock as you afk in the mission, for near the total time it will take for your current stock to deplete fully.

- Compete the mission & when the resupply arrives, it fully restocks your Bunker.

In short it allowed you to fully restock for minimal costs, if you afk'd/did other things while the game was on.

Not sure if it still works though.

And Bunker 7 Minutes, so just play the Missions at least longer than 7 Minutes, at least the bunker produces guns then. I only have Bunker, Meth and Coke active atm so mostly only Bunker produces stuff.

Meth is 2 Minutes longer than maximum Payout so it might be useful to wait the 18 Minutes.

While your businesses can still operate while playing contact missions, supplies cannot be delivered outside of Freemode. The advantage to this is you can buy supplies for your business while the cost is 15,000, then immediately start playing contact mission until your current supplies run out. Then once you know enough time has passed and you return to Freemode, the supplies that you purchased for 15,000 will fill the bar completely. Then you just wait for a sliver of them to disappear and repeat the process. This was always a great way to make more money than normal and should be pretty lucrative with double missions.

I noticed my Coke Lab produces stuff after 15 Minutes so that pic i posted is not 100% correct. Im 100% sure i never played a mission longer than 30 minutes. So i think it is a half bar worth 14K after 15 minutes and a full bar worth 28K after 30 Minutes. The only thing that barely produces anything while doing CM is the Meth Lab then. Well but it would be worth it to wait 2 more minutes after the 16 Minutes Cap. So if you want stuff produced while doing CM 18 Minutes is the perfect time.

If you only have Bunker, Meth and Coke Lab Active. This way 2 Units of Guns and 1 Unit of Meth and Coke gets produced.

It might be that the 14K of Coke Product isn't shown in the progress bar but there is some kind of "checkpoint".

So the perfect time to play a CM is 18 Minutes.

Ahh... The 7 minute rule strikes again, lol.

This, with the research being the same, was what drove me to a 3 month break and when I returned, I remained solo and even idled the last few.

Never had something hamper my game as much as this crap did. Hence, no more businesses. It encourages me to play by doing f*ck all or wait around.

Yeah, I buy videogames to log in and do nothing, lol. Embarrassing really.

I just played "Trash Talk" for 18 minutes and i got 46K for it playing it alone. You can only do 3 of these in the hour so it's 138K Money and around 30K RP in the Hour. Pretty lame doing it alone. Sucks i can't find 5 patient ppl with the same playstyle that have Bunker, Coke and Meth. :D

What is the best job to play alone if maxed out (16 minutes) well with the best payout i mean? RP is always the same except the additional enemies that you can shoot.

Edit: Found something that might be useful.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ff32aA0mbIMz6dnzeKd4U6YI0th_pOBksqVGusoBdlA/edit#gid=1889204387

In this somebody played a lot of missions alone and shared the data.

Edit2: If you play Los Santos Connection you get probably the same amount of cash but more rp than in Trash Talk.

But doing the same mission over and over again is way to boring. :D

Handle with Care and Stocks and Scares are really long mission, if you play the second alone yet it will take some minutes to block access in order to crack the safe in peace.

17 min for Handle with Care according this guide isn't surprising. I tend to speed the process by lifting the boat with Cargobob though. Still it takes me like 15 min..

You could also start Docks to Stock with a random, then lag out once the beginning thanks to firewall and make sure the mission lasts for 18-20 min. Ok Its tedious but if you need variety...

Well im just gonna live with it playing with randoms playing the missions as fast as possible also gives good money and RP. It's the last day i do CM anyway i don't play them with regular payout and RP anymore it's not worth it. Way to grindy anyway. Sure CEO, MC and Bunker stuff is grindy too but not that extreme.

I just played non stop Los Santos Connection and Trash Talk over and over again with 5 randoms payout and RP is good enough, then i got stuck in the clouds gotta love it. :D

One more level up and i ranked up from 745 to 760 in one week not bad.

Maybe i play sh*tty Adversary Modes in the future to get more rp i don't really need the money at the moment i'm sitting on 146 million. I want to make it to level 1000 someday. :D
