R-Editor Wont Record Near Fort Zancudo

For some reason once you get near that bridge on the dirt road going to the swamp area my R-Editor stops recording & then just wont record at all.

 

Does this on my old xbox and new xbox one x so i think this is done on purpose like not being able to record yourself or others with a prostitute.

 

What gives?

Strangely, its a dead spot. When you do manage to record, it states that the clip can only be edited partially (recognizes it as 1st person).

 

It usually occurs after doing a VIP job or MC Contract. In particular, after dropping off prisoners during Break Out its very notable.

Wasn't this changed when they added the UFO crash supply mission? They didn't want players inspecting the area with the free camera, so they put a mass restriction on the entire area.

 

Really grinds my gears, because Lago Zancudo is a great area for scenery shots.

Been that way for a long time. It's disabled because of the UFO crash resupply missions for the Bunker.

Stupid UFO bunker ressuply mission screwed up this space. Rockstar didn't want us to fly around with a camera for some reason.
That's sad, because the area around is so unique, could be edited as swamp, forest etc.

Yeah, pisses me off. That whole area south of Zancudo has great scenery too.

Sounds legit, A lot of world .gov's don't want you to know what's going on at there military bases so they put a jammer around the base. Especially the one with all the UFO sightings. If word gets out people would freak.

It was made entirely impossible to edit due to the bunker UFO mission. It's just one of the many examples of Rockstar's GTA V team being absolutely incompetent at their jobs, because instead of making it impossible to edit solely when the mission is on-going, they made the place entirely impossible to edit no matter if the mission is happening or not, even in singleplayer and Director Mode.
