Also, I wouldn't really have a problem with this, but whatever ma' breda. Just be mindful that high or very high detail shadows can cause micro-stutters for some users. These settings can also result in lower fps, but every system and install can be different so maybe you won't have this trouble. I run mine at high on v1.0.4.0, upgraded from a clean install of the boxed version and they look OK. I see little if any difference from high to very high. Also, I think that patch v1.0.7.0 did apparently improve the shadows' appearance and improve performance in this area, but introduced other instabilities with mods such as ENB. This game is also old, so I notice sometimes as an example that distant small objects may appear more grainy than usual, and even have small dots which only become clear/sharp as I approach the objects.
