Grand Theft Auto IV was 10 years old about a week ago so I decided to port a small part of the map to UE4.I might port more of the map in the future.

Here are some screenshots:

I also added free camera and fps counter on x and y keys.

Nice work you did about the 10th anniversary and I love the idea having the map on another engine or game (...*cough* LC to V *cough*)

Although your idea to port the entire map to UE4 already came into light, you might set up the map like him...

jaqub i wanted to port the whole map but i dont know how to convert the materials because gims iv makes standard materials and i need directx or opengl materials to port to UE4 without having to apply every material by hand.

Oh sh*t bro, are you using model and texture assets from a Take-Two owned product and then porting that content onto a different game/engine? You know what that calls for...

Even if you could auto assign all the materials, it won't look good anyway considering RAGE-IV and UE4 use completely different shading models.

Genuine question, what is the point of these engine to engine conversions? You don't have any of the gameplay features so it's just en empty shell?
