Starfield also sounds exciting, specially for the Single Player part. Blades? Meh, I hope it plays well on PC. Will give it a go since it's free. Fallout 76? I truly do hope there's a way to filter out who plays with you, and that the single player mode is good. Otherwise, it'll be a sad pass. That's uh, gonna be a long wait before they finally talk about them nevermind them released. Decent conference though, Todd Howard always puts on a good show, just sucks their really big reveals (Starfield and TES) are yonks away still. The whole "different every time" thing made me a little skeptical. Still I'm happy to see something new for my favorite game from last year. edit: I imagine they'll have a bunch of lore to find at least. HaythamKenway Posted June 11, 2018 Share Posted June 11, 2018 My willingness to even try Fallout 76 out depends on so many conditionals that the presentation hasn't cleared up, but I have to admit, making it clear that it's not a full-on survival game did make me more curious about the game. Though, even in that best case scenario, it still just looks like Fallout: Destiny Edition, which would make it not exactly my cup of tea anyway, so... sale? Used copy? And it's interesting to see once again Bethesda's shifting approach to Fallout by having you detonating nukes as a part of what seems like the game's directly, unequivocaly encouraged endgame raids with clear mechanical rewards. It's not like in F3, where it was tied to the morality system, or New Vegas where you had Ulysses (ie.: the villain) razing the political canvas of the wasteland. It's all about gameplay now, for better or for worse. Hoping for a release of a complete edition of Prey with the new DLC, I've already been holding the game off for too long. This would be the perfect time and opportunity to finally play it. Starfield is officially a thing, good. Can't come soon enough, I'm starving for a space RPG, especially after what happened to Mass Effect. I'd like to believe that the "next generation" thing is just a rhetorical figure, indicating that it's a brand new game on a conceptual level compared to the Fallout/TES formula, rather than a statement of a fact that the game will come out on the next gen systems. But considering we didn't get any gameplay footage of Starfield and are instead getting more Fallout, that's a bit premature. The trailer for The Elder Scrolls VI was certainly their biggest success, and can at least help fans narrow down the setting.
