Merle Travis
What the hell did they do to the horses!? What happened to the majestic RDR horses? https://imgur.com/a/qWrR5qJ HandSoap2811, UltraGizmo64 and burger_mike
Spider-Vice
That is the same horse I'm almost sure. Wouldn't be a first for R* to keep a "bug" as a joke in the game. Maybe it's going to be a super derpy horse. Look at all other screens, horses are fine. Red Dead Rebel
Because horses have emotions and reactions this time. They're scared. Shooting a gun behind a horse head better make them look like this. I don't want to shoot a gun behind my horse's head and have it not react. Also, bonding with the horses makes them calmer. It's a mechanic in the game. Why are you guys cherry picking bad shots anyway? There are so many screenshots with good looking horses. They look fine. Don't worry. damienrayemusic
The horse in the screen was likely scared and thats why the eyes are so big. Its showing horses reacting more often to the situations now which is awesome. The horses look beautiful Kirsty and Mr. Morgan
StarAngelWolf
Could you be more specific on what you see wrong with the horses? I think they're more realistic than the super muscle-y ones from RDR 1. Edited May 6, 2018 by StarAngelWolf livejoker
Jason
If Rockstar don't confirm that Derphorse is available in both single player and online I might just cancel my pre-order tbh. #BelieveInDerphorse Spider-Vice, Lock n' Stock, livejoker and 2 others
Kirsty
Yeah Rockstar said that horses would have different personalities depending on how you treat them, so they can be more skittish or confident in certain situations. They are going to be as dynamic as ever, so I wouldn't judge on screens like these without seeing them in action. It's certainly not a graphics issue or whatever you're thinking. I still love Derphorse though. Lock n' Stock, Mr. Morgan, Jason and 1 other

Mr. Morgan
Yes, it does look very much like a horse. A frightened horse, but it is indeed a horse. Kirsty and Nutduster

SneakyDeaky
I want NPC's to be terrified of just my horse alone as I ride into town. Or perhaps the NPC's, like some people, they could bitch about my poor horse. Call him names. Then I will just hogtie them and drag him through the mud for a mile. For real though, a freaked-out horse just wants to bail out of a situation. I wouldn't be surprised to see a horse in-game harder to control after shooting a gun off. livejoker
Oh baby, I read the future. I hope it's not a gimmick-y feature that works like sh*t. I'm excited reading about the bonding experience. In RDR it felt a bit "detached" to buy a new horse and just ride it like it was trained.

BS_BlackScout
Dude/Girl nitpicks frames in which the horses are scared and complains they look like sh*t.
