Sniping through solid objects...

I keep getting caught out by this and know some of the reasons but they don't all add up... I know being beyond draw distance with a sniper rifle can get you hit through objects, especially with night vision scope, but earlier I was getting shot through boulders from about 100 yards away. Absolutely no line of sight, well within draw distance, I was well behind the boulders and a good 15 feet clear of them, yet still getting hit. What gives? What am I missing?

Were you down at the beach on the Southern end of the map where the yacht spawns?. from the yacht you can shoot straight through those boulders, it's a complete trap

I'm always looking to use this exploit against some of the harder targets. It has definitely f*ckered up the rooftop snipers.

iunno, both of these things excellently deal with Deluxosh*tters that hide behind buildings.

Not quite. Thermal Googles and Scopes aren't hacks, yet can be used to shoot through walls and other solid objects. Exploit is probably the better term for it.

I don't know about your case but when i go to the report system it clearly says report for: EXPLOITS, so it's exactly that.

Besides if you are that sh*tty of a person to exploit this, then even if you aren't hacking, you deserve the report for abusing a broken game mechanic which is also another thing you can report. (of course not talking about you, unless you do it).
