Fierelier
IV Ban ScriptSick of hackers? This mod keeps them out of your lobbies! What does this do? This mod allows you to add players to a ban-list. Players that attempt to join your lobby while on that list will be immediately kicked. You can also add people to that list while you're not the host, which will make sure that these players will be kept out of the lobbies that you host. Banned players will be saved in a file called "banlist.txt" inside your game's directory. You can also add players manually to that file, although I'd recommend using something like Notepad++.Commands Open the .NET Script Hook console (^ on a QWERTY keyboard, Ö on QWERTZ), und use one of the following commands:- ban <gamertag> - Adds a player to the ban-list. If you're not the host, they won't be kicked. However, they will still be added to your ban-list and will be taken care of next time you are the host of a game.- unban <gamertag> - Removes a player from the ban-list- banlist [gamertag] - Shows the players you've banned. If you give the gamertag argument, the player will be searched in your list.Planned Features- Global Utility Functions: Allow anti-cheat scripts to interact with this script.DownloadThis mod requires .NET Script Hook and Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0!If you like this mod, throw me a donation! Zolika1351
Useful script, but do people even play 1.0.7.0 anymore? I thought everyone's been on 1.0.8.0 for a while now, nice job though Edited May 5, 2018 by Zolika1351
Fierelier
@Zolika1351 Many people play 1.0.7.0 due to ScriptHook compatibility. 1.0.7.0 is still playable online with the 1.0.8.0 paul.dll! -- From my testing, 1.0.7.0 players can play with other players using 1.0.8.0 without problem (Tested setup: 1.0.7.0 ScriptHook + ScriptHook.net + Ban Script, 1.0.8.0 Vanilla). The only thing that does not seem to work in 1.0.7.0 is ranked matches, although who knows, maybe it's actually possible to play ranked in 1.0.7.0 somehow. Although do let me know if I'm missing something. If ScriptHook is 100% patched for update 8, I oughta use that instead. (C++ only) Also, I'd like to know how you did that, because if I try to play on a completely vanilla 1.0.7.0 game except paul.dll (downloaded from steam using download_depot command) it still recognizes the game as "modded" and only shows SNT servers Edited May 6, 2018 by Zolika1351
Fierelier
@Zolika1351 I did some more testing, and this is what I gathered: Completely vanilla 1.0.7.0 works with 1.0.8.0 servers, they get listed and everything. Your 1.0.7.0 might be modded in some small way which excludes you. However, here is an anormality: 1.0.7.0 with script mods. As it turns out, as soon as ScriptHook is applied, it excludes you from unmodded MP, this is intended. However, I was able to connect to an 100% unmodded 1.0.8.0 private game yesterday via invite, now it doesn't work anymore. I'm gonna have to dig around, this is unreal. Making myself look absolutely stupid again, I swear I did it yesterday. But yes, unmodded 1.0.7.0 works fine in non-ranked. I may be able to assist later, for now I'm gonna dig around and see why stuff is being so weird. Edited May 6, 2018 by Fierelier
