KaizerHind
Hello... I really ask for the favor, for someone to help me ... I do not know if it's too much to ask, but, this is a headache for me. I spent weeks researching how to apply lighting in buildings, objects, etc, in the gta, but I have no success, and visited many pages, videos, and although I find information, it does not work ... I do not know if someone would be kind enough to explain to me, or teach me a guide to help me, how to apply Vertex Color in a model, because every model I use, CJ looks very dark when it is near this one. • Images: https://imgur.com/a/Oe6vPgh What I want to learn, is this, that CJ, when it is inside or outside of an Exterior / Interior, its illumination, gets the same aspect, as in this Interior. I don't know if I make myself explain. https://imgur.com/a/8Z5yPAI Pd: The programs that I am using, to try to add this 'effect', are 3d max, RW Analyze, NVCM. Sloth-
If i understand well, what you want is not changing vertex color of model, but changing how dark or light looks player when standing over the model. Use CollEditor2: http://www.steve-m.com/downloads/tools/colleditor2/ Open your .col file and you will see something like this: Click on Edit Mode: Click on "Face" Tab: Click on this icon (it's the collision brighness): In my case i see the model in yellow, because already i have the collision set on max brightness, but since you see CJ dark when you stand over the model, you should look this in another color: Press CTRL+A to select every face on model, then it will turn red. (Alternatively you can only select faces you want to edit by clicking on them). Scroll down until you find the brightness bar. Then you can adjust it at your preferences. Max level means you will see CJ fully iluminated when he stands over the model. For last, click on File > Save. Just a doubt, I was trying what you tell me, but ... do you know the reason why, in the ColEditor, the brightness is not active? Image:

Some collisions are composed by faces, and others by spheres and boxes. So instead of selecting "Face" tab, go for "Sphere" or "Box" tab. Rest should be similar. Does that only happen with this particular file? Or does it occur always? Never happened to me.
KaizerHind
It always happens. They told me that when you create a cube in ColEditor, you can not use that option, but I wanted to create a 'default' box in 3DMax, and even then, I can not increase the brightness. Edit Hello; I already found how to solve it. Close theme Edited May 11, 2018 by ZaikerHind
