I've got all the aircraft, cars and other utterly useless crap I need. I'm just happy playing the game and having fun. Drip feed me an invisible flying Faggio that destroys Deluxos just by thinking about it and yeah I will be all over it.

Bonuses on biker missions and Air Freight AGAIN. I'm impressed, Rockstar. But the Supersport Series cars are not completely released STILL.

This is just SADNESS at this point. I really don't know what else to say about this cancerous spoon-feeding of DLC.

Spoon feed - provide (someone) with so much help or information that they do not need to think for themselves.

Drip feed - provide gradually and in small amounts.

Just sayin'

As speculation, you guys think they will fix the speed on the new cars by the time the new dlc drops or will it stay the same???

Dripfeeding makes me likely to come back to their game even less. It's just an unnecessary drag.

The last time I checked, the last of the dripfed cars of the Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series update won't be released until the 29th. That's after Fanimecon and Memorial Day. :O

What exactly is selfish about wanting to buy cars that are already in the game?

we had to grind for MONTHS just to afford an Adder and there WAS NO DLC!!

lmao, you literally only had to do a Coveted playlist 4x to afford an Adder. It was tedious but you could easily achieve it in a single day.

Drip feed doesn't bother me. Most of my cars are free lol. I hate new vehicles because R* is too lazy to add proper damage effects to the vehicle bodywork. Now it's just some scratches and slight denting. I'll only buy a new vehicle if it's the PMP 600.

You're just spoiled, I can't believe people actually expect R* to consistently give them free sh*t all the time.

The lack of voting options for people who don't want to participate in your sh*tfest of selfish opinions is quite disappointing.

I can name 130 people in this thread who disagree with you. If you're going to mock my voting options (which I think are fine) make sure you better be ready to correct them and not start talking sh*t about stuff that you cant even fix or do better yourself. I am not spoiled, there is nothing wrong with me wanting stuff that's already in the game early. Also, this content is not free, I could banter on and on for why that is the case. No, I would not bring up shark cards, that is so obvious and would not make a *good statement for why the DLC isn't free.

That's my job ffs!

Sure, there could be more options but the easiest thing in the world is to criticise.

I voted the first option but it doesn't really match my opinion since I don't want that time to save up, just "I don't mind" would have been sufficient, but it wasn't there and I made do with what was, no big deal.

Impatience is the issue I see here though. While there's nothing wrong with wanting something that badly you get impatient, it also (presumably) makes people play week after week so they can try the new stuff, rather than burn out after a couple of days. It's marketing. Much like how publishers will have a set release day for a new game despite it being ready to go much sooner, a lot now do it with early access for pre-orders or deluxe versions which, again, is marketing. Is that so wrong?

I really can't see how it's as bad as the topic title implies nor as some who are posting are implying. Perhaps in the days before the internet and twitter and leaks etc. it could be bad for some of the reasons given but considering that we know 100% of the content the day of release and unless you live under a rock or have no internet (which makes the argument invalid as no internet, no GTA:O and no GTA Forum I guess) you know what's coming, most of the time when it's coming and for how much etc.

You don't like being teased and made to wait, I get it. However, it's not "a new low" as it's certainly not lower than the whole "reduced pay on CMs" stunt, the "public session only" stuff or even the deadeye but still dumb AI crap they pulled when increased difficulty was being asked for.

It would be better if people didn't post half completed models of cars on here that are unreleased, followed by a slew of appreciation threads for said unreleased vehicles. This makes people simply get stupid over those vehicles and not even attempt to enjoy the ones in game. What? You don't like occasional new vehicles? Is it going to ruin your life that the stupid car you want isn't currently out? You'll probably buy it, drive it for a few days, and forget it anyways.

I love dripfeeding if for no other reason than it makes so many kids cry

If you actually like a car then good for you. Mostly it's just kids demanding everything now and for free that ruins it all.

Yes, I

I agreed with you up until this sentence: You'll probably buy it, drive it for a few days, and forget it anyways.

Not true. I have 50 or so cars, and every time I'm using a car, I call a new and different one each time so I can enjoy them all. Also, when I buy a new car or "cars," I drive them for a month consecutively before going and doing what I mentioned before (underline)

I've been saying drip feeding has been f*cking stupid since the start. I just wanna start saving for the actually enjoyable aspects of each update and ignore the garbage filler, its annoying when you get that garbage filler for weeks on end that gets in the way of the one thing you want.

I hate the drip feed concept as well. I don't quite understand why they insist on sticking with it after all this time. Surely there must have been loads of complaints since day one. At least it was better, in a way, when it was one vehicle per week. Not what it is right now.

At the end of the day, however, it's nothing but a tedious process anyway. It doesn't engage me to play - it does the opposite. I wait until what I want is out and then the DLC is already getting old. In what way am I supposed to get excited and engage in the game if they tease me with stuff that's not released before much later? The game loses its purpose to me. I just don't get that concept whatsoever, but some might enjoy recieveing filler items before the real goodies. I dunno.

If a lot of frequent players arent back soon, they'll probably consider doing something from Friday to Tuesday, IF. BTW, I spoke to some Canadian players who basically had 50 hours of crap and dont seem inclined to rush back. Everyone should be so wise as to do the same. I cant mention something that is 50/50, but if it happens, itll be noon or before US EST.

lol @op have you even read your own statement. 4 years of updates

How many games can you list that give you new content 4 years after its release for free, and you're complaining you're not getting enough?

so you wanna buy all the things at once and then what? wait for months for the next set of content?

you're not even supposed to know about unreleased cars if it wasn't for some jackass data mining the files.

You are blind. I said four years of updates and still no bug fixes. There is nothing wrong with that statement because it's correct.

"so you wanna buy all the things at once and then what? wait for months for the next set of content?"

I already mentioned this, and what many players would do, there are event weeks, new adversary modes, I would be entertained without it. The original heists had everything released day one, and people still play and enjoy them. I could equally still enjoy those cars and do without new cars or other vehicles for multiple months. Most people don't always play GTA too buddy, they play games like COD or Fortnite. You are acting like everyone is forced to play the game with no new content.

...However, regardless this is getting a bit ridiculous.

We should have all the content on day one.

i find it funny that people like you bitch and moan about the so called "dripfeed" yet, wants everything released on day 1, which would result in 3-4months of nothing new! which would cause you to bitch and moan some more

I wouldn't. We get these things called event weeks. They put things on sale and make businesses double GTA$ and add new modes (That are okay around 60% of the time ) I would not get bored. Unless you are a modder. For the record, I already own pretty much all the vehicles from this update, with 30 mil to spare. Yes, that is legitimate. I would just rather have them all released at once.

For ex. I would really like my Dominator right about now.

Yellow Dog with Cone

Dripfeed kills all the hype from an update.

At this point, aside from car entusiasts, no one cares about the rest of the dripfeed cars anymore, which is quite sad because both the Cheburek and the Michelli GT are pretty decent.

As I previously said, when R* finally unlocked the FH-1 Hunter for purchase, aside from Helisexuals, the rest of the playerbase stopped caring and that was the Hunter, an often requested vehicle to tye point of being turned into a meme.

The dripfeed is just an artificial way to generate "interest" in the game because let's be honest, if it weren't for it, most players would only play the game when there were a good bonus week or whatever.

Basically, the game has become so stale that the dripfeed it's the only thing that keeps players still playing and that's so f*ckin' sad.

If we could buy every piece of content on day one we would be able to enjoy it during the waiting period. With the dripfeed thats not always possible. If all the stuff you like is at the end of the dripfeed you got nothing for weeks/month.

And if youre a typical GTA player with the attention span of a sand gnat, youll be bored with everything by the end of the first week and complain about getting nothing for the next 3 months.

Most annoying part of the dripfeed is I have no clue what is part of what update anymore. I had to think hard to remember that the Cheburek was still part of the Hot Ring update. Still cant remember if the Hunter is part of Gunrunning, Smugglers Run, or something else entirely. Everything gets blended together and becomes a confusing clusterf*ck

Ehm.......... HOW ABOUT YES??

Let me manage the content how I want. Why all of you assume that I will buy everything on day 1 and get tired of it on day 2? And if it were the case, would be THAT bad? Now only double money on profitable activities get people to play this game in between updates. Dripfeed just makes you log in to buy whatever is new, use it a bit, and don't come back until next week.

And don't knowing which vehicles/modes are in the dripfeed doesn't mean people are not well aware of the dripfeed as a established practice at this point. Everyone and his momma knows there's more stuff than what we get on day 1 when a new update is released, without watching clickbait youtubers or visiting this forum. Nobody is fooled by dripfeed anymore.

I don't give a damn about most cars in this update really. This dripfeed sh*t means I'm excited for the new content for about 30 seconds before I realize that I'll see most of it in 3-4 months and then... yeah, I won't even f*cking care by then. Keep it, R*.

I don't mind the whole drip feed so much. I only play GTAO now a few times a year for two or three weeks straight until I get bored. Then I go and play something else as there are a lot of other great games out there. When I eventually find my way back (which I always do because it still fascinates me) there is a ton of new stuff for me to mess around with. Then at least it feels somewhat fresh for a while and I have a couple new toys to strive for.

I don't really care if they add more missions or heists as they're all pretty much the same at this point. A map expansion however would be wonderful. I'm so tired of this big friggin' map with nothing on it. The new RDR2 map is supposedly smaller but deeper, i.e. more interiors and the like. That's what they need to do in the next GTA online and off.
