i'm level 530+, and i'm really bored with the game right now. in GTAIV i never got bored that way. because each game was something different, and you didn't get stressed like in GTAO. you could roam the map freely (i said freely) and have fun each time. that poll is mainly for high level (350+), as new comers will obviously find something to do, and get hooked. but of course anyone can vote. i don't like PvP myself, and each time i think of starting a game i think to all these immature kiddies, and just the fact of thinking to this prevents me from launching the game. i loved to walk, and watch the peds, and the sun in IV. in V i bought and tested anything that could be bought and tested. and (when you aren't into PvP) only things the game offers you it's to buy the latest car, customize it for showing it during heists, and to play always watching behind you if a kuruma or whatever is closing. what annoys me the most, it's that with very small things the game could be changed drastically in a good way. like a non invisible passive, and 1 or 2 more bars, where we could have a drink. is that so difficult to implement. so bored..

The options are very obscure. I'd totally give a vote towards loving PVP. PVP as in Deathmatches though. There's nothing to gain from freemode PVP for me. Very fun to show strength in numbers in public lobbies though. I'm currently working on getting 100 kills per day. 20,000 player kills with rifle only in possibly 3 months from now.

I'm not sure how to vote on those options in the pool as I don't understand them, as for whether I'm bored or not, I'm not bored, in fact I'm in the clouds loading up from a job right now while typing this, this week was a bit stale because no vehicles were released, I only now checked the new races and I've enjoyed the ones I did so far.

For some reason I'm actually hyped for the new survival mode Trap Door. Been a long time since I've seen anything good co-op wise without it being PVP.

I just get bored doing the same things over and over again, like doing the same businesses too much, or racing in the same vehicle classes too much. But if I can mix it up a bit, then it's not so bad.

Look man, it is what a 4-5 years old game? Look at the old consoles, game is declared dead there, but there are still people who play it in these consoles, I personally love the game and with all the love I've got to it it is quite disappointing lately but it was obvious so I don't bother being mad and stuff, I just halt my gaming for awhile to not ruin my game experience and go on try other games, even completed the story once again because I wanted to get used to the keys again. I've done everything @Online and there are stuff I will never get bored of. I get your point but I do not get the hate for PvP, the game is meant for that. What else would you expect from a "Multiplayer game of criminals gameplay"? You share the idea of the people who are destroying this community who are the youtubers who usually cry out for the PvP because they cannot party with their audience. I do not say you support them or anything like that but you share an opinion. If you are really bored of it, wait for June or whatever the leakers say, jump by and test the new stuff, if you still get the thrill of buying a car or whatever then keep on, if you just don't, admit it was a fun ride and go on.

Other than that, I do love PvE and I sure do wait for R* to add more of these, they are alot of fun. If the community was really about that they would have showed it at the beginning when they released many PvE missions but damn, everyone went for heists and buying cars. Rockstar goes after popularity, if you truly gather the community to wait for missions and not to buy the new cars they would be curious but a company never fell for following the rating of activities of it's product.\

Yes, when I play other games I quickly realize that GTAO has stagnated or slowly spun in circles like toilet water for quite a long time now. They really tried to extend the games life by drip feeding content but it's failed at keeping me interested for sure.

So many really good online games make much less money than GTAO yet they spit out real new content more often and with much higher quality content... Not just new PvP rehashes that could be made by the community or new crappy car skins that have more flaws than they did ķn GTA3 or IV.

I have a strong feeling R* is outsourcing their update designs to companies that have no idea what GTA is apart from being a profitable video game.

R* probably knows they're losing players by drip feeding existing content over years but they got their moneys worth ...plus a couple billion. Luckily it wasn't from me so I got my 70-80$ worth too, a long long time ago.

I was so bored that i filled 5 large warehouses in the last 2 weeks. Now i got absolutely nothing to do. Im sitting on 144 million got a full bunker and coke and meth lab and 5 large warehouses. Im waiting for more content or at least import/export double bonus. Not gonna touch the game for a while now. Playing a lot of forza 7 and watching a lot of netflix lately. Yeah im bored.

Why do every option have something to do with pvp?

If you wanna walk around freely and do your own thing you have passive mode or invite only sessions

I played for about 30 minutes last week after not playing for about a month. Bought a Tula, screwed around in it for a few minutes, then just got very bored and depressed, and decided to do something else.

 

I have not played since, and have no real desire to. I will maybe buy the new cars when they come out, but I don't really care about them.

Example: do everything that you were doings in gtao, but with a bounty on ur head,....ALL the time. Survive it.

When I get bored (level 664 and 302ish) and it does happen, I just stroll around in my garages, check out my cars, take them out for a spin and enjoy the fruit of my hard work.

I hope new cars will continue to be added for quite some time still. Perhaps spaced out a bit more than now, but new content like that = having fun while earning the needed money.

 

I could care less about PvP. I mostly solo my own sessions and tend to stay clear of public sessions these days. Only with a few remaining friends I tend to hang around in populated (by them) friend-sessions. No need to jeopardize my character in public sessions. Main goal for me, is just earn ingame money to buy stuff, organize and enjoy it...

I've been playing since June 2016 and this is the most bored that I've been. (PVE player)

 

I played a few of the new stunt races today and almost fell asleep, lol.

 

The handling flags make my Ellie's so slow.

 

All of my regular friends are gone. One (rank 600+) is not renewing his PS+ until something interesting happens.

 

I made a new friend (rank 40ish) a few days ago and I'm really looking forward to helping him. I enjoy helping other players, so I'm betting it'll inspire me to get back into GTAO.

 

I bit the side of my tounge a few days ago so I can't help him until I've healed, lol.

Well, I'd love some fresh content, like new garage space, PvE missions, new guns, etc. to make the game more enjoyable for me, but I can't really say that I am bored. (Level 527 btw.)

I'm not really into PvP. I enjoy the occasional deathmatch and the occasional anti tryhard freemode fight, but its not my main thing in gta online.

For me it's not the gameplay but just the world becoming so routine. I was like you, simply driving around and exploring was enough for me. But having been so accustomed to the map, having driven down every alley, and having heard every song on the radio dozens of times has made it lose its luster. I still like hopping in but usually for an hour, two at the most. Then I get bored. Year or two ago I was playing in 5-6 hour chunks regularly.

I do PVP and PVE, and have been exceptionally bored as of late.

We've gotten nothing but underpowered, overpriced cars this update and the dripfeed has little more than that to look foward to. There's no reason to continue playing for myself and several friends until the next update comes around, because the content in this one is low effort, broken, lacking in options, or just plain bad.

 

I've enjoyed the cars that I've wanted thus far, but the Michelli is the last thing out of the update I intend on interacting with, just so I can make it look like a Fulvia and sit it in a garage, knowing it'll be too slowed down by the new suspension compression flags to bother racing it.

Less 'bored', more 'frustrated' - it pains me to see the cut corners, wasted potential, doubling-down on the same gimmicks, etc.

 

Feels like Sarwar and co. are vandalising the game at this point, and there's only so long I can keep playing at the moment before it gets too depressing, and swap to something that isn't a whole bunch of nonsense bolted on to a formerly-promising foundation...

I actually like PvP but I'm currently bored with the game.

 

I mean, when almost every single battle consist in someone popping out of Passive Mode while in a Deluxo, just to teleport to their Facility to get a free kill on you with the Orbital Cannon, it does get pretty boring fast.

 

I mean, where's the variety? Where's people running around in another motorcycle aside from the Oppressor? Where's the Molotoks, Rogues and Nokotas? Where's the Bombushka and Volatols? Where's the APCs? Where's the Thrusters? Where's the rest of the Supers aside from the Vagner in races? Where's the players using something aside from explosives? Why everyone keeps blowing themselves up?

 

PvP becomes repetitive, derivative and lame, no wonder why so many players abhor PvP in this game.

I'm not heavily into PvP but I do still enjoy the game.

 

The key for me was to stop focusing on making money, the constant grind of using only the most effective money per hour methods burned me out. If I see a car Simeon wants I'll deliver that, then I might rob a store, sell a street car, accept a random race or mission invite, sell an I/E car, stock and sell bunker, hunt down a bounty etc. It feels more natural and relaxed.

 

The only thing hindering my enjoyment now is having hardly any garage space and nearly 120m. Nothing to spend it on, nothing new to buy.
