[SA] Corrupted savegame with "AutoSave Screen For GTA SA"

Hello,

 

At the end of an airplane race at Las Venturas airport, the savegame screen has appeared because i use "AutoSave Screen For GTA SA" mod and i have made the error to save at this moment whereas i was in the races menu. Now my savegame is corrupted and causes a crash of the game when i load it.

 

I tried to edit the savegame with an editor to change the CJ spawn location, but the game still crashes when i load the save.

Do you know any solution to repair this savegame ? I don't want to restart a new game now .......

I finally had a chance to use Nick007J's strategy of killing saved mission threads without the hassle of putting the thread to sleep long enough to kill it with a cleo script. All I had to do was set the mission thread's baseIP to 0 and set the relativeIP to 61825 (PCv1), and fix the checksum since I edited the save. It seems to be working properly.

Hello OrionSR,

 

Thanks a lot, my savegame seems repaired but i can't save my game anymore because all the save locations have disappeared ... And i can't do the next mission too because there is not mission point ....

Oh, um... I forgot to turn off the on mission flag. Let me try again.
