Who actually thinks that, other than online? Either I don't have enough friends or I'm in the wrong crowd.

Edgy right wingers.

Usually they'll frame it as like Jewish people making the whole thing up just so they can get sympathy from the UN to give them Palestine or some arbitrary crap like that

For me,  people who go "huh?" of "what?" directly after I say something loudly and clearly. You can call my mother mean names and/or chew loudly, but huh-ing and what-ing? Drives me up a wall.

I think a 'types of people you can stand' thread would be interesting actually. 🤔

Honestly? I hate passive aggressiveness and indirect insults. I’ve seen this behavior A LOT on these forums. The internet has exacerbated this, and life being soft and easy for most in the western world has made people too comfortable with engaging in narcissistic/psychopathic behavior. There are times where I am genuinely confused as to how some people speak and interact with others in a real life setting, because the persona’s they exhibit online are not based on any semblance of reality. I genuinely believe that if these people had consequences for their actions, as they do in real life, they wouldn’t act this way. Most people are timid and cowardly when met with confrontation.

Homicide is one of the only crimes I think is morally justifiable. Obviously, that’s circumstantial and there should still be consequences, but once someone has reached that point, they’ve already accepted the weight of their decision.

A good quote:

“Social media made you all way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it.” - Mike Tyson

It is so true. I'm the type of person where I mean what I say, and if I see you in person it's not going to be any different. But a lot of people get behind an anonymous identity and their sense of empathy evaporates, and they just start going H.A.M. for no damn reason. I've apparently pissed off a lot of people where I genuinely feel like asking "damn what the hell did I do to you?" It's crazy. I feel like the internet exposes the real ugly of some people, but people do go overboard. If people talked to me the way they do on the internet, I'd be in jail. I mean the last time someone called me out my name in-person and used the N-word (with the hard R) I popped my trunk and started waving my bat around. 😂 It generally takes a lot to piss me off in real life though. But the kind of sh*t people say online is so over-the-top it has me like WTF a lot of the times. I'd like to be desensitized to it but it's still annoying, trying to have a conversation and some dipsh*t wants to start attacking your character and bringing up something you said who the f*ck knows how long ago and how you're a bitch because of it.

and if I simply respond “you wouldn’t say that to my face” I’m suddenly an internet tough guy! If I don’t respond I’m a bitch, if I do respond, I’m a bitch. You can’t win either way!:sadkek:

For something that forms so much social interaction, the internet sure is a f*ckin terrible medium for it

As most revolutionary advances, we humans as a whole we're not prepared for the Internet. And AI revolution is around the corner...

People who need alcohol or drugs to have fun.

THIS.

25 years I’ve been alive, never touched a cigarette, never smoked weed, never done any other drugs, and I’ve never even tasted alcohol. I hate being pressured into doing something I don’t have any interest in, and I’m also too stubborn to do something just because someone tells me to. I prefer to keep my mind alert and attentive at all times, being inebriated to me seems like a nightmare. I’ve gotta be in control of my actions, otherwise I won’t be in control of the consequences of said actions.

I'm not into drugs either but I keep an open mind. Drinking is iffy. I cannot do it regularly but it can be fun to drink and get tipsy every once in a while. I was at PF Changs with my folks the other night and ordered a drink that wound up having lots of vodka in it. Had a much better time lol.

I had considered microdossing shrooms to help with depression but opted against it just because I can’t bring myself to take that step to the other side. Enjoying a drink with the folks or a celebratory cigar have always seemed very casual and not like an impulsive addictive commitment like cigarettes. I feel like competitive gaming while drunk would be hilarious for anyone else watching :sadkek:
