EkaSwede 9,512
People who always go out of their way to one-up you and only you. People who deliberately move themselves down a tier/league just so they can dominate the lower league (Also people who deliberately raise their handicap in golf by too many points so they can easily win) and act all smug about it. I suppose they gotta remain the little "trophy child" after all...
Standard Deluxe 59 15,348
People who hold up the check out lines by having the cashier wait for whoever they came with to bring them some random thing the person holding up the line forgot. I forget stuff too, but if I'm already in line I'm not wasting everybody else's time by having someone go get pasta sauce for me. If what you forgot was so important and you don't have many groceries just put them back in your cart/basket and go get it. Otherwise just get it another day. Which reminds me of something that happened at Costco last year. I went to a check out lane that had some random seemingly abandoned cart near it behind a lady. I asked the lady if it was hers or someone's she knew and she said no. So I moved it out of the way and put my whopping 7 items on the belt when some little bald headed middle aged guy comes out of nowhere upset that I "took his place in line". I told him he wasn't in line when I got there and he jumped to the "but my cart was here" excuse. To which I said "And how would I know that? This cart was just left here with nobody attending it." And he crossed his arms and pouted behind me. Moral of the story: If you forget to grab something at a store, do everyone who just wants to buy what they came for and leave a favor, excuse yourself out of line and go get whatever you forgot yourself instead of frustrating everybody else by holding up the line while you send someone else to get it! Also don't expect others to honor your place because your cart was there. Edited August 11, 2019 by Standard Deluxe 59

Yeah there's always some attention seeker that pretends to have OCD because they think it's this little quirky attribute that they can pull out of the hat to sound vaguely interesting. I can imagine I'd be bad with this honestly. Not intentionally though. I imagine it's hard in UK especially, there's that many accents and slang. It's really quite crazy when you think about it. Rumblebud 6,143
I always hated it when some folks considered me "spoiled" simply for having a decently nice car in high school. Felt like an unfair yet understandable assumption to make given a workshy generation. Although, in my case, a once in a lifetime opportunity only then provided me with a budget to throw into an expensive hobby.

I remember having this thought that I was probably that jealous guy that might have had feelings like that towards someone with a nice car like that when we were young. It's just selfish, toxic behaviour. I don't know why maybe a bit if hard work and dedication did come to mind first. Now I really respect the youngfella with the nice car. If he's worked his ass for his, fair play! I was too immature to do anything decent for myself like that.

'Hillbilly' - derived from 'Billy Boys', or more formally, followers of King William of Orange. Protestant Scots who moved to Appalachia and surrounding areas of the USA. So the term does refer to an ethnic group, or so I reckon.

Where have all the pedants gone? Surely someone noticed my glaring error? It's should have read "Prince William of Orange", who later became William III of England and William II of Scotland. Guest Billy Russo
Impatient people in Restaurants. Now there is impatience I understand, if you've been waiting for way too long and not even been acknowledged or your food is taking much longer than expected. However, my cousin is the literal worst. We'll be in there for literally a few minutes waiting and he'll already complain about it 'taking too long'. Even when it's obviously really busy.
