You must navigate to trainer.ini and add the vehicles into the added vehicles menu section you get 60 which is enough for all the dlc vehicles

Hi.Can someone help?

After I installed the mod I get an infinite loading screen and a message that says : gtaiv_vehicleaudiosettings.ini with name venom does not exist .

Yeah, somehow 4 bikes from a different mod made it into the file. Game will work just fine if you press space many times I guess. Too busy to update the file atm.

When I put RAGEIV_xp.asi in the game’s directory, I have an endless black screen when starting the game

this mod crash in 1.0.4.0 after the loadingscreen but in 1.0.8.0 nop btw in that version the computers doesn't work

1.0.4.0 will never be supported. 1.0.8.0 is just untested. Don't know what's going on there.

Sounds like you just started a new game. You have actually go to the savegames folder and delete all of the files.

Mod is dead until script support is brought for the new patches. I'm going to drop support for the old versions as soon as the updated scripts appear online.

Added 2 audio loading methods. Thanks to B Dawg and C1aude_III for the findings.

 

Might update EFLC Audio Loader folder to load the other gun sounds. I won't update the internal structure as this mod is also intended to work as a quick way to add weapons and cars. I recommend using this mod once it's released if you want all files to be loaded directly and even more content added in.


Also added in an updated cargrp since the old one had different bikes. Added the navmeshes too.

Big problem,now IV will use whatever dlc sound it loaded first for mission complete, menu music, others + you forgot to include a content.dat for IV to use to load rmptfx.... tricking radio system

Fixed the effects. I have no clue how to fix the other sound stuff, atleast in normal IV. For TLAD/TBoGT I can probably make the game load their audio xmls again. Apart from this, no clue how to fix the sounds for Grenade Launcher, the Automatic 9mm and the Sawnoff.

If you don't remember, I prepared you the Sawnoff sounds to work with my edited ep2_sounds.dat15. For the Grenade Launcher, what name are you using? E1_Grenade or E2_Grenade?

E1_Grenade, though both models are added in. E2_Grenade is only used in TBoGT.

E2_Grenade is sh*t, doesn't have sounds while E1_Grenade has pipe bomb impact sounds

use e2_grenade_launcher as the weapon name. It should have sounds.

So I managed to get this to work with GTA 4 The complete edition by downgrading it to 1.0.7.0 and changing the file path for the EFLC sfx files to where they are in the CE version. Though two issues I've noticed comes from this. The vehicles names don't show up for the EFLC vehicles and the weapons and TBOGT sounds don't seem to want to play. Though oddly the TLAD sounds play fine. Is this an issue that cane be fixed at all or not really right now?

The vehicle name error can be fixed by adding their lines to the gxt, the weapon sounds is because only one staticbank (the soundbanks with weapons) can be loaded, and in your case it seems to be the tlad one is taking priority instead of tbogt

Yeah it works on CE with a few adjustements but there are a few bugs. What you mentioned can be fixed, but I also encountered random crashes during gameplay, which I assume it's because of the limits.

 

I don't know how it works on downgraded game as I used the DVD version while testing. I have no clue why the audio loader ignores the TBoGT sounds, because it worked fine sometimes. By using the DLCs to load the audio, games will work but TLAD crashes when that logo is about to appear on the road in missions.

ANy recommendations on a gxt editor to add in the names? Can't seem to find one that actually installs right atm. Also yeah I was think the same on TLAD getting priority over TBOGT's sounds. Not sure if there is a way around that to make both have priority.

Edit: Nevermind about the gxt editor. Found the one I needed. So that's the vehicle fixed. Well fixed names appearing wise.

The random crash I've had when using the dited stuff in the main game is only when I spawned in the Police Bike. For the most part I didn't really have many crashing issues.

Hey @Jinx. , I hope it's not too much of a hassle, but can you go into just a bit more detail on those 3 known bugs? Just so I know, as I was planning on hopping on the episodes every now and then

Oh, and in regards to audio loading, is there a definitive better method over the other?
