one more for the Original Heists, minus 2 for Special Vehicles Circuit, both of these updates added some sort of gameplay but I'm still playing Heists today after 3 years of their initial launch, while the races got boring after while, the vehicles from the latter were good though aside from the Ruston, I bought that thing, took to Mount Chiliad and drove it off the cliff then sold it in the LSC of Paleto Bay.

 

Although, my initial thought was giving another DLC -2 but I don't think it's the time yet.. lol

Beach Bum - Simpler times where standing out meant having cool sandals. I might be basing it on simpler times more than what the DLC had but that DLC represented something important to GTA: chilling out shirtless in a van with two other dudes. Sausage Fest on the beach attendees: me and my friends.

 

Another thing about Beach bum: it was absolutely free! Not a single GTA$ and at the time it was released shark cards were impossible to buy.

yeah by specify I meant doing like most of us were doing and putting (+1) and (-2) in front of the choices, when I saw the post at first I thought he added another one to Heists since he didn't remove my own scoring from the post, then I saw the whole post.

I/E is a no-brainer for me. One of my favorite updates, and the reasons are the usual that everyone says anyway.
Freemode events - same problem as the first Christmas update for me; no new vehicles were added. But that doesn't mean I think it's a bad update either.

Wasn't able to get a vote in for Freemode Events, but I really enjoyed their addition into the game. I disliked Rockstar removing the old events; I'm not sure why we couldn't just have the old events AND the new events. Rockstar switching one out for the other was evidently an unpopular move. But I found the events we have now to be pretty fun. People used to talk about how all there in freeroam is CoD: Los Angeles or the Sins cosplay. Well thanks to freeroam events (and businesses) players could now keep busy and earn money too. I did some challenges as recently last night.

 

Alot of people here don't play with randoms, avoid public lobbies like the plague and generally reduce the multiplayer aspect of the game into a single-player experience. But for those of us who enjoy the spontaneous chaos of freeroam yet aren't necessarily thirsty for kills, the new events are a genuine good time. Adding more PvE content was quite beneficial for public lobbies in the long-run. Rockstar just shot themselves in the foot by dumping the old tasks in the process.

I do love the Elegy Retro, but the bad really does outweigh the good with Import/Export, IMO - gimmick vehicles, R* deciding to just keep compounding the likes of SecuroServ instead of expanding on organisation types, some of the sh**tiest clothing offerings in an update, etc.


A lot of people (rightfully) bash Gunrunning/Smuggler's Run/Doomsday Heist for the same things, but while they're more overt about all that, it's worth pointing out where it all started.
