(+1) Smuggler's Run. Good aircraft, and the combat vehicles are mostly well balanced (take some effort to use, but are fairly powerful too). To be honest if it wasn't for this update I probably wouldn't be here by now. Still think the bombs need to be bigger on the bigger aircraft though.

 

(-1) Lowriders: Custom Classics. I don't want to pick on it too much, but I'm fairly sure it introduced the dripfeed didn't it? At the time I just could not be bothered with all that. I still haven't done any of Lamar's missions, and I don't even own a Bennified lowrider.

 

(-1) IE. A great moneymaker, but purely making money isn't all I'm after in an update. More to the point though, it introduced meme vehicles/DIY vehicles/goofy vehicles. Weak and easy to defeat stuff, but it got the ball rolling. Yeah they can be fun, but they don't work out long-term in my opinion. For most people, it's everything all at once. No need to drive anything else, no need to fly anything else.

I really enjoyed the gang-life, criminal empire aspect to GTA: San Andreas and the Lowriders update was a nice nod to that. It wasn't as fleshed-out as I would like, but the Lamar missions were a welcome reprieve to the same-old heists and contact missions. Adding Benny's and a more in-depth layer of vehicle customization was also very progressive for the game. I would prefer Rockstar add more missions/jobs and more cars, clothes and lore to this aspect of the game. But I'm glad we received the little bit we got.

 

-2 for Cunning Stunts 2 because filler updates do not move the needle

Gotta give a little love to the 1st ever Update to GTA Online. Sure it wasn't the greatest, but we did get the Bifta for free.

 

Bikers DLC could have been good, but the business part of it was lame. Damn those cruddy Post Op Vans, even with 2 people.

Got a lot out of Halloween Surprise and I'm very happy with it.

CS:SVC gave me my true McLaren F1 and the dripfeed vehicles were amazing in every way. However, it's another unholy spawn of Cunning Stunts - if it had to be racing, which I love in itself, why not plain old street racing? - with a single vehicle and literally nothing else (besides the races) on release day.

Have you noticed Beach Bum? Well, some time ago we used to think it was the worst update. Obviously, it's not anymore. SASSS is, according to the results.

Cunning stunts is crap, cunning stunts for special vehicles is (crap)². Maybe it's a coincidence, but Amy is upvoting my posts exactly after 1 day so she helps me to vote again. Good job, Amy!

(+1) Beach Bum - Simpler times where standing out meant having cool sandals. I might be basing it on simpler times more than what the DLC had but that DLC represented something important to GTA: chilling out shirtless in a van with two other dudes. Sausage Fest on the beach attendees: me and my friends.

(-2) Cunning Stunts: Special Vehicle Circuit - Totally honest, I stopped looking at most racing stuff after Cunning Stunts. It was a fun new thing at first but now it's always on my loading screen despite not playing it more than a few times. Stop it! I don't enjoy it!
