Commander S Posted November 26, 2018 Share Posted November 26, 2018 If there's no incentive to play straight away (like some exclusive unlockable thing for playing during Week 1), I'll try to hold out until my new console arrives - not really much point spending hours fine-tuning character creation on my blurry old Xbone, if I'm better off doing it with crystal-clear image quality some time in the next seven-ish days. Jason Posted November 26, 2018 Share Posted November 26, 2018 Exploring the map a bit and I get the feeling that a lot of these cool/interesting places that have no use in the story (like The Loft in the east Grizzlies) are made with RDO in mind as meet up or hang out spots. Buildings with no NPC's in them, fires lit etc. They help fill the world out but their purpose in the single player is basically a place to get some canned food and a cigarette card but they all seem perfect as places to hang out in RDO while doing some crafting, chilling or waiting for people to catch up or something. Of course I’ll scout the interwebs for information as time passes, but tomorrow it’ll be me, a large jug of coffee and much time spent with the character creator. When that’s all done - and provided that the servers are working as they should - I’ll join forces with my 3 friends from GTAO. We got a few more people incoming later, but man, am I looking forward to a new frontier with well-established and trustworthy teammates!
