GTA LCS PS2 -> Android changes

Hello, everybody. Can someone please tell me some differeneces from GTA LCS Android version from the original PS2/PSP versions? I'm making a video about that. Mainly texture changes, removals, etc.

When you stop being a lazy ass and start actually playing the games by yourself (or more specifically in your case, start doing everything by yourself) instead of begging everyone to always give you jumpstarts to everything. If you're going to do a video about a subject you don't even have any idea what to say, then you shouldn't even do that at all. Jesus.

Show us what you were able to find by closely comparing the 2 versions, and we may have something for you to add to your list. If you don't have anything and you expect to get all resources from us so you can just post a yt video and enjoy "profit", then you are at least lazy.

Nobody is going to shut up/stop being rude until you stop being lazy/start researching; quite fair, if you ask me. Since you mention these forums are for HELP, why don't you SEARCH your answers here, too? There has been quite a discussion on the LCS Mobile Modding thread, where the files have been explored in depth, thus revealing lots of things like it uses stolen textures from mods like III XBOX and that other HD mod, it has the Tommy model, and much more. You keep posting in the GTA Modding section (the one with the questions) yet you're oblivious of that thread I mentioned earlier.

How are you going to make a comparision video without going through the files? Several of the textures use an oily filter on them, if you'd compare them to their PS2 counterparts. By going through the files you'd also have a few of your questions answered, too. I'm not even going to mention the radio, everyone should know what R* do with it by now.

 

And this was all done by actually using google, talking to various people like Tomasak and watching videos. Something you don't even bother doing, yet you've been told to, and a sh*tton of times aswell. Obviously people are going to be rude when you don't learn sh*t.

 

If you're going to do a comparision video, then don't ask everyone to find out every little thing just so you could do the least work. You should be the one playing both the games so you could make a general opinion, not the others.

 

So before you come with all the stupid off-topic in every thread you should start using google and other stuff

That thread should have some of your answers. It mentions several internal changes, like the use of DFFs and TXDs, Tommy's presence, "everything on the plate", like Ash would say about the files, I'm not sure about the radio quality but Mobile uses masters from R* as base, the fact that the other audio was ripped with online tools, and most likely more.

 

If you want to talk about the HUD and texture differences, go ahead. But there is also some internal stuff worth mentioning.

Thanks for the help, finnaly. In the new video the Tommy is mentioned. I found some stuff there that is helpful. Are there any character changes except for Avery, Donald Love, 8-Ball, and Maria, what also?

Anyways, Haven't played psp version but here are few differences like-

 

>The Avengers bike colour was changed from red yellow(psp) to USA flag(mobile)

 

>V8 ghost spawns near Shoreside safehouse not in psp but in mobile

 

>the hud and radar was changed

gta lcs uses slightly modified gta 3/vice city textures in mobile.

 

>The health bar looks slightly different in mobile

 

>The save icon disc looks different

 

>You can unlock snowy liberty city in psp only by going Car Salesman level #9

this was absent in both ps2/mobile

Wrong. Is an Angel Bike.

Wrong as well. They reused GTA3/Vice City mobile HUD icons and radar, just removing the color to match LCS. Lazy Lucid.

Sorry for the topic bump, I think I can elaborate on my findings or things that I experienced while playing the mobile version that have not yet been mentioned here: 

1. During the mission "Hot Wheels" the pointing arrow that the Banshee receives when you enter the marker near Toni's safehouse won't stay on the Banshee for a certain time even if you are inside it like it does (certainly the case on PSP, probably on) PS2 but rather disappears when you enter the Banshee.
2. The obvious Firefighter/Paramedics/Vigilante completion levels have been reduced to level 9.
3. On mobile, you can not keep the firefighter sub mission on hold like you can on PSP/PS2. (The method is similar to the taxi driver holding trick back in GTA 3)
4. On mobile, you can enter the RC Raider, RC Bandit & RC Goblin (without using tricks like marking to skip the opening/closing the door animation) and without crashing the game 
5. On mobile, the "marking virus" doesn't spread around other cars inside the garage like it does on PSP.
6. On mobile, you can spawn any car with the "spawn a rhino" cheat. The car you get follows a certain list and if the list reaches a certain vehicle, the game will crash. I suppose that the vehicle is the Ghost (Missing, not V8), even though it can be spawned with alternative methods, so I am not so sure about this one. 
7. On mobile, or more specifically, on android, you can softlock any audio line being played by simply pressing the back button twice. This will also mute any SFX sounds and only play radio and the background sounds like waves clashing or the wind.
8. The icon which marks the safehouse has changed from a silvery disc to a green house. (Not a greenhouse, but literally, a green house.)
