Now GTA Online offers way more (I'll straight up admit that) but GTA IV Multiplayer really brings back memories. All players had was Liberty City, some vehicles, other players and their imagination. So if somebody was doing something fun or interesting, people would often join in (looks at you Francis International Airport ) Shoutout to the DM/TDM players, the dedicated Racers (no "slipstream" or "catchup" back in that game ) and especially Cops 'n Crooks players. My personal favorite with Hangman's NOOSE coming in a close second. I'll quote the Hangman's NOOSE man himself but with a little twist. "You have remained strong my friends you will rewarded for that I assure you. Now we must drink and WISH GTA IV a Happy Birthday of 10 great years!" I hated that the airport pretty much became the one place where everyone decided to fight, but I loved that EFLC's multiplayer opened up interiors across the city. People give it sh*t because it's "slower" and has less features compared to San Andreas and V, but there's no denying that it was ahead of it's time, and still holds up to this day.
