g3DTZ v2.0 is out!

 

What's new?

  • Rewritten, better, more readable source code
  • Fixed LCS PARTICLE.CFG, some fields were very wrong
  • Improvements in float printing in text files
  • Filled in some missing fields from HANDLING.CFG
  • Added extraction support for:
    • Decompressed GAME.DAT to use directly with @The Hero's lcsconv and vcsconv tools
    • Animations (!!!)
    • Path data for train, airtrain and ferry
    • Zones
    • PED.DAT
    • LCS FISTFITE.DAT
    • WATERPRO.DAT

nice mod!! but how I can rebuild the game.dtz? Because I have made some changes in default.ide in LCS PSP version.

I built GAME.DTZ in LCS PSP. after opening with PPSSPP it crashes immediately when loading.

via adding it to archive using winrar. renamed the "GAME.rar" to "GAME.DTZ"

GAME.DTZ is a zlib-compressed memory dump of the game, NOT a zip/rar archive...

If that was the case, my tool would be completely useless, wouldn't it?

Can you add rebuilding support of the GAME.DTZ file, I know is not the goal of your tool but now it could be a good opportunity to do it since the new Sanny Builder 3.4.0 supports recompiling of the MAIN.SCM of Vice City Stories file. The main thing I need to edit is the maps IDE files to extend the draw distance of objects in general and play it on PC via emulators...

Then I have bad news for you. Map is managed by the streamed world system (LVZ), aka you can’t change it. The ide files from DTZ are used only for collisions.
