This archive contains pre 26/4/2018 radio dats, gxts, and also binary differences between post 26/4/2018 patch and prepatch radio's RPFs

 

IV radio "downgrader"

EFLC radio "downgrader"

 

Just unpack to your IV or EFLC root directory and run the install.bat, wait till the command line disappears and play!

Maybe they edited the mission script to play a different radio track? I wonder if the credits music is affected as well.

Thanks for this, George!! Quick question: I have EfLC installed in my Steam Apps directory, but I am not sure which one to extract to because there are two Episodes directories.

D:\The path is D:\Steam Games\SteamApps\Common\Grand Theft Auto Episodes From Liberty City\EFLC

 

So am I extracting to Grand Theft Auto Episodes From Liberty City or am I extracting to EFLC?

 

Edit: I am guessing its EFLC since that seems to be where all the files are?

 

 

Edit#2: Okay, I figured that it was EFLC, so I extracted there, and ran the install.bat file and the command prompt disappeared. Now do I have to run that file every time I want to play the game, or did I just need to do it the once?

yes, into eflc, you should be asked to replace certain files.

Thanks!! I did it, as I posted above. Do I need to run the .bat file every time I play the game, or just once, as I just did?

 

By the way, on a side note, for some weird reason, every time I see your forum name, I think of the Seinfeld episode where George's gym teacher from when he was in high school kept calling him "Can't-Stand-Ya!!" instead of Costanza for the whole show. Really funny episode.

Only once, the downgrader files will get removed after the process is done

It replaces the files, so you only need to run it once.

I just downloaded and installed the one in your OP, George, which I did about a half hour ago. So I should be fine and need no other files? I assume you edited your first post before I downloaded it?

No, in the sfx directory of the .rar folder, all I have is radio_vcfm.rpf.bin

Yea the mega glitched on me, so if you dont have loading.rpf in the downloaded rar, download the extra patch and apply that. sorry for inconvenience
