CJ is confirmed to be 24 in 1992, which is when SA happened, so in 1987 he would be 19. Brian is the youngest of four siblings, and CJ is the 2nd oldest, so Brian would be 17 when he died, at the most

I think Brian was about at least 10-13 when he died. Remember, CJ is the second oldest of the Johnson kids and Brian is the youngest. Also from what I saw, Kendl and CJ aren't really that much apart from each other age wise. I'd say Kendl is only about a year younger than CJ. So Brian's age is definitely around 10-13 in 1987.

It is presumed that Carl ran away at the minimum age of 18, when travel without an adult would be practical.

Since Brian is an "also mentioned" character of little importance it really does not matter.

I'm not sure why but I'm under the impression Brian was 18 when he died, and CJ was 20 when it happened, being 25 during the events of the game.

I always had him being a lot younger for some reason, which would further justify a lot of CJ's fear and motivation in running away. It would also add further tragedy to an already sad event, highlighting how not even the youth are safe. Ever wonder about the absence of children? These streets aren't safe, dog.

Okay, so let's do the math here. Sweet is the oldest of the Johnson kids. CJ is second behind Sweet, making Kendl younger than both of them. That leaves Brian as the youngest. A lot of people say CJ was at least 18 when he left his home. But who's to say he didn't run away at such a young age? I've known plenty of teenagers who left their home to live somewhere else back in the 80s. So CJ leaving as a teenager isn't entirely impossible. However, if he did leave as a teenager, he had to at least know how to drive, and the legal age to drive is 16. Also, considering that you have to be at least 21 years of age to enter the club (though maybe it was legal in 1992 for someone 18 years of age to go into clubs) and it shows CJ in one of his dates inside the club drinking beer, I'd say the latest he would be born in is 1971 (which is the same year Tupac was born in and I've seen a lot of people on YouTube compare CJ to Tupac).

 

Also, from the way CJ and Kendl interact, Kendl doesn't seem that much younger than CJ. I'd say they're both only a year apart. Which leaves us to Brian. Considering he was the youngest of the kids, Brian would be no older than 16 at the latest and no younger than 10. So yeah. Brian's age during his death would be between 10-16.

Well let's think in 1992, Sweet is 26, Carl is 24, and Kendl is 23. Going back 5 years would mean Sweet is 21, CJ is 19, Kendl is 18, I'm guessing Brian was 16-17 when he died.

Well, assuming that CJ was about at least 18 when he left to LC, and that Kendl is about at least a year younger than CJ, I'd say Brian was somewhere in between the 13-16 range when he was killed.
