Logically, no-one throws away an activation key. Regardless if it can only be used once (which in most cases, it is).

^ While I agree with that, you mostly never need it again. You just logg in with your account and start playing. My gta never asked for the activation code after instaling it the first time and I probably reinstalled it atleast 5 times.
