However, I am here to tell you guys that Disney only ADAPTED stories like Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, Winnie the Pooh, the list goes on forever. Most of what was listed were ORIGINALLY fairytales all the way back from the Middle Ages. They were quite a bit darker than what Disney made them out to be, as well as far less musical. However, The Jungle Book was written back in 1894 by Rudyard Kipling and Winnie the Pooh was written in 1924 as a children's book by A. A. Milne. I personally prefer the original stories because they seem more realistic of what really happened (within the story of course, NOT in real life), they're more intense (sorta like a typical GTA game, lol), and seem more "traditional" if that makes any sense.
