gtalagado
I'm emulating the game on pcsx2 I was playing without problems, but when I went to the right side of the map I started to have a lot of lag, I tried many different configurations (I was changing and testing) and nothing works, the strange thing is that the game stays at 60fps % speed) all the time even when it's with lag, does anyone imagine how this can be solved? (even in native resolution I have the problem) Edited April 23, 2018 by gtalagado
ViceBoy69
PCSX2 has issues with all GTA PS2 games, Liberty City Stories runs like crap, ViceCity runs ok but the Audio craps out, Only one ive found that runs ok is San Andreas, its just something you have to live with. PCSX2 well never be perfect with some games, i have tried it on mid range computers and high end it doesnt make a difference, the PS2 maybe old now but the emotion engine is still a complicated processor to emulate correctly. Igor Bogdanoff
are you using the Dev 1.5 version? It runs all gtas except LCS very well for me. https://pcsx2.net/download/development/git.html
denis1379
.Motion blur looks cool and there is no problem with that, only when you go outside Clyman Suit. Game just run to much sh*t and that would be reason to overloaded emulator Edited April 24, 2018 by denis1379

Vice City criminal
If anything of the above doesn't help much, try capping the framerate. Just search for a folder Called "inis" on the PCSX2 Main folder and Then search for a file called "Pcsx2_vm.ini" there you can adjust the framerate to your liking or to what the game drops in frames, if you want a constant framerate. GTAFanLuca
Can I also get some support related to this? Below are my specifications: -AMD Quad-Core Processor E2-3800 (1.30 GHZ, 2 MB L2 cache) -AMD Radeon HD 8280 -4 GB RAM (3.45 GB usable) -500 GB HDD Would PCSX2 be able to run VCS smoothly with a certain configuration on this laptop? PCSX2 in general uses mostly the cpu instead of relying on the gpu like most pc games. you could try the MTVU hack along the 8-bit textures on the video settings. that and capping the framerate to 20-25 fps. or you might run into some heavy fps drops regardless of settings.
