Couldn't find the right forum to post this question,so I'm not the most updated player when it comes to weapon upgrades online,all i want is the explosive rounds for the sniper rifle,do i have to research everything and all unlocks before this is available?-or can i choose when to research this?.watched youtube videos but can't work out if i'm doing this wrong.

You just do research and wait to be told what research has been unlocked. I don't think you have any choice what you are researching, and I don't remember what order items are unlocked, but there's a list in the research screen in the bunker computer. I don't remember it taking long before getting the explosive rounds.

 

A lot of the unlocks are useless things like different coloured guns so not much incentive to continue with researching after you've got what you want. - Apologies to anyone who gets excited about being able to have coloured guns

Bunker was part of Gunrunning Update, was nothing do with Doomsday Heist Update.

You'd need to own a Bunker.

Access the Computer.

Assign Workers to Research.

Buy Supplies.

Wait for Research Bar to go 1%.

Fast Track Research.

Keep doing this till you get Explosive Rounds.

You would need an MOC or Avenger to upgrade Heavy Sniper to Mk II and apply Explosive Rounds.

There is a glitch, or was. Something along the lines of waiting until it starts a research project, then immediately suspending the app if it's not the one you want?

 

The pump shot gun iirc also has explosive rounds, no research necessary.
