Anti aircraft question

Recommended Posts

Yago2322

I'm having problem with people that are good at hydra, oppressor, deluxo, akula, lazer, hunter and aircraft in general, while i'm doing my missions these people come with their planes and bully me and i don't know what i can do to stop them, are the planes the most op things in gta online? I try to hit them with homing missiles but they dodge and kill me again, what are the anti aircraft options that i have to stop them effectivelly?

Which Missions?

Contact Missions or Free Roam Business Organisations?

Explosive Sniper, Minigun, another Aircraft like Hydra, Lazer or Helicopter.

If all these don't work,

Passive Mode and go to Facility,

Orbital Cannon is your last resort.

While i'm doing Doomsday Heist preparations they come to disturb, i will try explosive sniper and minigun

Chernobog can engage vehicles at a much greater distance than anything else in the game. Might want to give that a try.

Heavy sniper with BST is powerfull too. You have to lead your target to hit tho, because bullets have traveltime. Atleast there is no bullet drop.

First, learn to spawn Bull-Shark Testosterone from the interaction menu

Weapon options:

- Explosive Sniper / Heavy Sniper + Bull-Shark Testosterone / Heavy Sniper with the FMJ ammo + BST

- Never use minigun against planes or jets, the bullet trace will actually HELP the guy in a jet to locate you easier. And it has a very bad range. Use the Combat Machinegun instead if you don't have access to the Heavy Sniper

- If you are OK with glitches and tricks, the glitched Heavy Revolver MK2 with the FMJ ammo will destroy the Savage helicopter in one "shot". The regular Heavy Revolver should do a lot of damage as well.

First person -> Shoot and Roll at the same time -> [if you see the shot after the roll. you are good] -> Shoot the rest of the ammo until you left with 1 bullet in the cylinder -> The last shots will actually release 50-100 buillets at once. This will destroy almost any aircraft

I try to hit them with homing missiles but they dodge and kill me again

Try use homing missles without homing. Don't wait for a lock on, predict the location instead. It's pretty hard to do against the planes, but it's totally possible against helicopters

RPG is the best option again helicopters if you can learn to anticipate where it will be

best options:

mtu lobbies (google it)

join a friendly crew like the one i'm in

heavy sniper or mk 2 in general with either regular, explosive or fmj ammo.

marksman rifle can be ok

heavy revolver is good too (with bst it 1 shots the pilot)

any automatic weapon is also useful if they fly low enough especially with fmj

other aircraft are the best counter if you can fly well but that's a big if as most players can't fly for sh*t.

bullshark is just overpowered in general, spam it

oh yeah and freeaim rpgs or homers are good too if you don't have good sniper ammo types

NEVER USE THE MINIGUN it tells them exactly where you are

Avoiding grifers:
- Do missions in empty public lobbies
- If someone joins in and comes your way to attack just lag yourself off again

Best way to counter meme vehicles like deluxo and oppressor:
- Hunter or jetpack with Chaff countermeasures
- Explosive rounds

Best way to counter jets:
- Sxplosive rounds
- Starling or Pyro

If it's a Deluxo or Oppressor the use a Stromberg to down them and carry on. Or if you don't want to fight just use your MOC cab to go about your business, or maybe the Nightshark.

Nobody has mentioned the Anti-Aircraft Trailer. If you have a friend, the AA trailer with flak will make all your problems go away. Or at least turn into clouds of black smoke and twisted metal. Same thing, in the end.
