Problem with CEO car race mission - The race won't end.

I am having trouble with a particular race mission where you get cars to sell. I would get a job where I have to race to the target in order to get the car in question. Whenever I get one that ends up in Blaine County, I beat the race time, but the race doesn't end and I cannot enter into the target car as it is locked. Consequently I fail the job because according to the game, I didn't beat the time, even though it shows on the screen that I did. I drive over where I'm supposed to go, but that doesn't work. The other race work fine, but this is the only one that doesn't. This has been going on for a long time, and I cannot understand why. Is this a glitch in the game or what?

Has always worked fine for me. Must be a glitch that has come about since the last upstate imo.

Does the owner still attack you with a baseball bat?

I emailed Rockstar, and they said they will look further into it if I send them a video of what's going on. So I will have to record a video the next time I get this particular job. In the meantime, does anyone else have any suggestions? As whywon'tyoulisten asked, the owner of the car still attacks me with the baseball bat if that helps. I cannot recall if this has been happening since before the Doomsday Heist update, or after.

I had this mission yesterday and it worked absolutely fine. Lighthouse version.

Never had problems in that mission.
