Adrian J. Posted February 5, 2021 Share Posted February 5, 2021 Love this game, played it a lot back in 2006 and 2007 and it still holds up. New York is big, not as detailed as Liberty City but for a PS2 game it's impressive. It has it landmarks and all that, music selection is interesting to say the least, story is very ok but driving in the 70's through slummy NJ with the police on my tail is all I need xD Last year I dusted it off but a weird glitch happened and all my cars disappeared, the unique ones, the APC the prison bus. This game was a whole lotta fun, that's another reason why i decided to make this topic a few years back & also wanted to hear everybody's opinions,& memories on this underappreciated title in the Driver franchise . Personally I don't consider DRIV3R to be that bad, sure the world feels empty but it's detailed. All three cities are good looking, even for it's time and it's a shame it was pushed to meet the deadlines. Mindshower Posted January 13 Share Posted January 13 (edited) Sometimes I wonder if the parking lot tutorial didn't filter so many kids who tried to get into Driver early on, would the series generate more nostalgia? Parallel Lines was my introduction to the franchise, and it didn't seem to last very long after that unfortunately.
