Expanded Map setting is broken?

What the heck?

I logged on today and it gave me the "calibrate the Rockstar logo" image and then the terms and agreements page.....that usually comes after an update or something.

 

So anyways, it puts me into single player and then from there I load up into my online character. No problems.

 

Except I see that my radar screen is the smaller version. I always keep my default as the Expanded Map on my radar.

 

Well, when I hit pause and tab over to settings and go to Display and set my radar to Expanded, it gives me a bigger map but the map itself is now super zoomed in on me as opposed to giving me a wide view around me. Almost the same level radar you get when you're inside a building like your bunker.

A glitch/broken with an update? Am I missing something?

 

I notice if I set the radar to default mode (smaller), it works fine if I click the down arrow to temporarily expand the radar.

 

EDIT: After trying it again 10 mins later it worked. I had walked out of my bunker and was flying a chopper when the original problem happened, it's almost like the radar was still thinking I was underground in my bunker, hence the "zoomed in" radar shot.

It's fixed now regardless. Mods, feel free to delete or lock.
