Rename and/or delete territories in time zone

When I change some details of my profile, I find myself with this:

I don't know if it's something on purpose or if it came by default, I'm Argentine and when I read that, I didn't like it.

I suggest you please change it to Islas Malvinas or choose another country that passes through this time zone, e.g. Uruguay.

This is an issue outside the control of Staff here. Take it up with IPB support, but I doubt they will do anything until the Falklanders themselves change the name of the Islands.

All right, geographically it belongs to Argentina, and they were invaded in 1833. And to this day Argentina is claiming a territory that belongs to it.

This feels just like the Quebec flag issue all over again. Just because some time zones are listed together doesn't stop them from telling/notifying the right time. Why make an issue of it?

Culture of lying? Sorry, but the Islas Malvinas are within Argentine territory. It belongs to Argentina, even if you don't want to admit it.

And also by UNCLOS which defines the EEZ of a country as 200 miles from the coast, meaning that the Falkland Islands, which are ~320 miles from Argentina, are not in its territory anyway.

I am aware of the referendum that the islanders voted, but in that referendum, it was voted, if the islanders wanted the islands to maintain their current political status as a United Kingdom Overseas Territory.

Likewise, our president is not interested in the subject, here in Argentina, patriotism does not exist on the part of many people, for them, there was no war, where people fought for the sovereignty of the country.

You have to admit that the islands are Argentine, but check out a history book, like Gilbratal belongs to Spain.

My proposal is that the island be removed from the time zone and the issue resolved.

In the same logic, the islands are British, they're independent from Argentina, and, because they're overseas and in a different continent, they will be listed as a country and as a timezone.
