IV Song Removal Due to Licenses expiring.

Recommended Posts

Burnout Paradise is 3 months older but EA is keeping all the songs for the remaster.

EA > R*

You know you're screwing up when EA is doing something positively better than you.

Yeah, not even considering the lootbox outrage.

Still this games have beaten records. #FACT

What does that have to do with the price of fish? In the next month the product we paid for will no longer be the product we get to download. Maybe the game wouldn't have broken records if people had known that it would be neutered 10 years down the line.

I finally found out what causes the steam screenshot spam bug when using an Xbox controller...f*cking DRM. More than likely SecuROM, which is *still* unnaccountably embedded in the Steam .exe, not liking Windows 10. If there's one thing 1.0.9.0 can do right it's removing that crap.

Guess the update is ready since R* didn't update the beta branch for 5 days now.

F**K,someone needs to make a downgrader like the SA one quick,or else the people who haven't made a backup are screwed.

Me: repeat after me. You will replay GTA IV story and its expansions for the 10th anniversary

R* I will destroy GTA IV

I still have RDR2 pre ordered since it will most likely have it's own music and I think R knows their audience with that one. I am somewhat worried about the online thing but I am hopeful. I must say that my most anticipated game is Last of us 2. I am looking forward to that almost as much as I was GTA V.

Just copy your radio files and slam them back when it's patched if you're on PC.

The fact is though we shouldn't have to do that if Rockstar did what every other developer does.

I just hope LCHC is unaffected.

Fun fact, L.C.H.C. was one of the first Radio Stations in GTA IV (specifically TLAD) to be affected, the song "Jailbait" by Drive By Audio was originally included on the Xbox Live version of TLAD but was removed from the PS3 and PC versions of EFLC:

They better not remove:

Oxygene pt 4 by Jean Michel Jarre

Ruslana - Wild Dances

Hello - New York Groove

Stevie Nicks - Edge of Seventeen

From what I've heard, they gonna remove the whole Vladivostok radio station

It was already affected before he mentioned it. Damn, dude ended up dead on arrival.

Tbh I'm glad it was removed, it doesn't fit in with either version of the station. If LCHC has to be affected again, I hope it's the replacement of the I Cum Blood song :p

(aka the weakest song on the station, and overall weak Cannibal Corpse song)

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. But like B Dawg said, it doesn't fit in with the rest of station, so good riddance. I guess R* got the memo, so they removed it. :p

As much as I love songs about cumming blood inside of someone's mouth and ass, you're right. And tbh, they should remove CC altogether. They're practically the first band a 13 year old would listen to when he's looking for edgier metal. Put on some Burzum, at least Varg actually killed someone, so he's not all talk and no action. :p Also,

I want LCHC to be completely replaced with a bunch of power metal sh*t like Halloween and DragonForce.

get a load of this guy. At least you called it sh*t, I'll give you that. ;)

What? Take the game out of Steam and all other stores?

This is sad news. I just hope they replace the songs with even better ones.

Problem with this is that there technically aren't "better songs". The music that came with GTA IV were fine the way they were and fit the game. New music replacing the old makes it feel like something's missing.

Think about if GTA V's West Coast Classics was overwritten by The Lab. WCC has some cool tunes, new tunes aren't going to replace the old ones no matter how good the new ones are.

That would be preferable to them mutilating the copy I already bought, yes.
