Ballistic equipment - does it have any ingame use beside molesting low levels ?

Good for yuks, like commandeering a flatbed truck (or breaking out one of the rare PVs that can be used similarly, like the Guardian or Duneloader) and putting the guy with the ballistic equipment in back. Any better than just using an Insurgent? Obviously not. But it's funny.

Put like 3-4 people with ballistics on top of a bus, and see how long you can survive before somebody kills the driver with an RPG
