Move this thread to Find Players & Lobbies and let's get it goings. I'm in!

My only weakness is jacking sourced cars from marks & storing them in my garage @ the docks.

9 out of 10 marks got that same garage round the corner from the Vagos, not the strawberry one.

Just wait for'em to bring it to me then grand theft they candy A$$. Secure it, chill inside as that jacked mark waits outside in a true to form Fluster Rage.

The Best! Then take a pic to remember, like a true serial gta Jacker.

Yeaaah I don't think any friendly crews will let you do that in their sessions as it's like...not friendly 🙄

If you want in on a friendly lobby to make money you're welcome to join said friendly crew.

If you want to be there and not join properly then it's almost certainly because you're not friendly...hence justifying their decision to kick you...it's not so complicated.

It would be a good idea to atleast once in a while set up a time and day to have such a session that way you could get the largest party possible, all while being public. I am usually in a lobby by myself thanks to the MTU method.

I recently joined such a crew's session through friends' crews list in hopes I could do some deliveries and maybe even co-op. They immediately started voting to kick me. It was a bad decision. For them. I started a VIP job, and blew up some of their products. Then I rejoined the session and blew up some more stuff. This time most of them weren't able to kick because they were still on cooldown. I tried to explain why I did all this and what could have been if they hadn't tried to kick me but it seems these guys were too stubborn and stupid to understand. BTW I also was looking to join one such crew but the rules were too much for me and I'm too lazy to run businesses all the time. I just buy my supplies and move on with more fun game modes.

Yes these crews live and die by rules and the biggest rule is always running with the crew tags on.

You also said you didn't want to join them as the rules were too much for you...you can't have it both ways either you're in or you're not...you blowing up people's product just shows that you're not mature enough to be in such a crew...you'll make less money at the end of the day so it's your loss not theirs overall.

People like you just don't get it.

I am sitting on just under 60m right now whilst owning almost everything over 4 characters so enjoy earning less money due to not being a team player.

One of the rules in my crew is never attack anyone running product in any form in not just crew sessions but any session...only total idiots blow up product ☺

I joined their session, hoping to find a friendly and peaceful environment for a quick delivery but stumbled upon an immature gang with annoying practices even before I could offer a collaboration. I play by motto that I don't attack first but when I'm attacked then I counteract and that's what I did with these “mongs”. Even after they started kicking I kindly asked them to stop and told them I was friendly but the guys wouldn't listen. The result was something I haven’t done in a very long time - a couple of unsold cars and destroyed crates. I could have done a lot more damage but I'm not a monster. I just hope that some people learned their lesson not to violate the kick button but to step into conversation first. This is what is wrong with people, they just can’t talk like a normal human being, so I have to step down to their level.

As I'm not too much of grinder, mostly because I'm far from having money problems and I don’t enjoy those routine business runs too much, I decided not to apply for them. It's actually great that those grinding crews exist as business goes a lot smoother in larger teams but as an outsider I'm not a fan of some of their practices, such as kicking players who haven't even got out of their bunker. I have large enough circle of nice and helpful friends who help each other with errands and most of all, can communicate normally.

Well I joined a crew before helped them make money and when its time to sell my sh*t everybody all the sudden gets tired, hungry, just leaves.went through that a week straight until i just destroyed their phantom wedge (bunker sell mission) ramming everything until it blew up. Then I left their ceo (those fools did bunker as ceo another annoying thing) started fully loaded and took out a weeks worth of stress. I did spare one guy who actually helped me though he was an alright guy so I waited for somebody else to sell bunker.

What's wrong with doing bunker as CEO?

When you sell guns, MC members get a certain percentage of the sale but CEO associates only get a little helping bonus besides their regular salary. So when you jump from one organisation to another, it's more profitable to be in MC as you might not even get paid for being a CEO associate during the short deliveries.

Ahh, right. For me, running mostly solo in public, CEO is indispensable when selling guns on account of ghost mode. But it definitely makes more sense to give everyone a better payout as MC if you're selling in a controlled environment.

I think there's a misunderstanding with how these "friendly" or "peaceful" crews operate, let me explain:

The "friendly" or "peaceful" part of the crew means that their members are friendly and peaceful among themselves, aka, they don't attack each other or destroy their sales. It doesn't mean that they're friendly or peaceful to everyone else.

Also, the only reason they tried to kick you from the lobby in the first place is because even if you're truly friendly, your mere presence in the lobby activates the matchmaking process, making more likely for other players to join the session and most of the time, at least one of those players isn't friendly at all. It's not personal, it never is.

And as I said you were not running with them as a crew...I imagine they have a rule to kick anyone that isn't.

If you want a place to make peaceful sales you could have joined them rather than expecting them not to kick you which is kind of stupid.

They privately communicate through discord i imagine too...with other crew members which you're not 🙄

Well spoken fellas.

Vill3m: Ive been kicked from sessions as well, but I completely understand why others do it to me. They dont know me, how can they? Starting to ruin peoples sh*t for that reason is just childish.

If someone is having a party and youre not invited, do you also go there and piss in the punch?

Try getting some friends of your own if youre capable, and run your own cartel-sessions. But then, its difficult if you start to attack them because you feel a little bored.

...

Its true that sessions must be curated - when enough randoms join its no longer safe to sell full warehouses. So its best to kick as soon as a stranger joins. Though I admit, I sometimes feel bad doing it, especially if the player is higher ranked, have a low K/D and dresses his/her avatar with normal clothes, because those things probably means theyre cool. But its better to be safe than sorry when youre dealing with million dollar sales.

And to SaltyGTAFmember who said theres no such thing as cartel holding hands, heres a definition of the word cartel for ya, from the Merriam Webster dict:

Definition of cartel

1 : a written agreement between belligerent nations

2 : a combination of independent commercial or industrial enterprises designed to limit competition or fix prices illegal drug cartels

3 : a combination of political groups for common action

Depends on a party.

So its best to kick as soon as a stranger joins.

It was stated many times on this forum that it's better to ask nicely instead of providing the bad sport point without a reason. Besides, you do NOT want to piss off the higher ranks, since they know tricks to make avoid being kicked.

For example, I can start a VIP work (but a sale is better since it doesn't have a timeout) and join the members of the one-man-crew after it ends. Due to how the game works, I will leave and rejoin the same session. And all your votes will be useless. You would have to re-vote again.

I can rinse and repeat this trick until the crew decides to leave to another session.

Asking nicely is much more effective strategy.

Yeah, it's a no brainer really. If I land in a crew run session and I have one of the guys added, I'll still expect a kick from his/her crewmates possibly, if I can't jump out quick enough, lol. They don't know me, not at least until word gets to others I mean peace. Many crews don't mic, can take a minute. I know the score, lol. Of course, if I do what most seem to not be able to, and text my buddy asking if I can take refuge in with or help with, it can only lead to good things 9 times out of 10. (There are exceptions mind, lol. But I know a set up when I see one... Now, lol). But to some, 'begging' is beneath them, lol.

Friendly crews want friendly folk. Act like a dick, worse, become known here as an impatient player, you'll get dismissed quite quickly, even rejected elsewhere based off hearsay, and very aggressively if you play games and cause drama. To each their own, some love a fight versus a group, but it'll not end well for the lone player most times, often both sides really, as one wants a fight and will probably lose that, but will succeed in halting earning and other fun too, lol. (Me, I may seem enjoy the talk here sometimes getting spicy, but in-game, I'm as placid as anything, lol).

Win some, lose some. I don't mind it really, but I have more time and cash than some that it frustrates, I understand that too, and it can irritate me for a few minutes too of course, I'm only human, lol. The whole system is a mess really, but the obvious solution has been met with some very strong opposition too.

Never though I'd see the day where GTA lessened options and it was actually liked, bah. Ain't going into it all. Fun times though!.

As Flexcreator said above too, communication and patience go both ways too I feel. Worked for me anyway. Rare I get grief from teams/crews I meet.

Comparing a party to a few handfuls of people spread out in a big city and its surroundings is a bad analogy.

"I have large enough circle of nice and helpful friends who help each other with errands" < I don't have a problem getting a safe session of helpful friends together. And no, I don't kill them, I don't even start fights or destroy other people's products, unless they've been hostile against me first.

In my opinion it's smarter to keep the kick button for some real griefer. The kick feature has a fairly long cool down and you need 50% of the people's votes to kick a player. Some crews are suspicious like IGN or tryhard/grifer crews but the most important thing is to communicate. I have randomly been in a few other sessions of more well known grinding crews without any problems, helping each other out and stuff. So, yeah, I have plenty of good and bad experience to be mad at kick feature violators.

I dont think its a bad analogy. If GTAO only had one available session it would be sh*tty to kick someone out of it, but it isnt. Plenty of other sessions to be in. If theres a group (whether it be in real life or GTAO) of people who clearly want nothing to do with me, I dont force myself upon them - I find new friends or another group of people who do want to be with me.

I honestly dont understand why anyone would go through the hassle flexcreator described to get back at people who try to kick you. Like others have said, its nothing personal. What do you gain from being a nuisance? Basically I think its just a biproduct of having a hugely inflated ego. Show respect, pffft.

But you may be right about one thing; that it might be a good idea to ask strangers if theyre friendly and cooperative before kicking, Im really going to try that and see if it works out but no way in hell Im selling a large warehouse with someone in session I dont trust 100%.

Gotta remember also that this method of playing is a biproduct of R* own way of directing the game. Its simply not reasonable to spend hours of gaming time to fill a large warehouse only to have it destroyed upon selling. Anyone whos had that happen to them would do whatever it takes to keep that from happening again. So here we are..

Oh, and the bad sport points one gets for being kicked cant amount to much, Ive been kicked before several times and not once have I been in BS. So if that actually makes a difference to you, you must be pretty good at racking up BS points outside of getting kicked as well.

The obvious solution if youre mad at getting kicked out of cartel-sessions is to start doing your own cartel-sessions instead. You need one or two friends to make it work. Hell, Ive been a lone wolf for most of my GTAO career and I still dont have any trouble whatsoever making friends to co-operate with occasionally.

The crew behaviour is based on the idea that vote-kicking is effective. Refusing to be kicked is about ruining the idea. I do not advocate to jump on them though. Simply staying in a session despite all their votes is more than enough to prove the point.
