I like your enthusiasm, but I think you should redesign the form so it's much less likely to receive deliberate bad data. Experiment with drop down menus so people don't mess with the data you're gathering. Since people are going to troll with fake reports, make it easier to check between the real and fake ones.

 

 

 

 

Don't increase the chances for users to input bad data. Or you could only permit people with a valid Social Club account to fill out the form. This sounds highly

 

I'm by no means an expert on the subject; I'm learning myself, but you could experiment with different angles. So far, the idea is good, but more can be done to improve.

 

And ignore those who mask their toxic criticism as feedback.

Someone mentioned here in GTAForums that there are two extra slots in the sessions. Not sure if it's related to admin stuff, but joining anonymously would be a relevant action to catch cheaters in act. R* is millionaire, but isn't able to fight against the "mod menus" and who uses them.

I think they are working on making GTA Online and all GTA:O Stats cloud-only so that all Mod Menus wont work anymore. Thats the only option to really stop this. It would waste more resources from the server side but I think R* should have enough servers to keep up with this. This recode would explain why r* stopped caring about reports, then again, I am just guessing...

yep those are "spectator" slots.

 

there were like 2 instances back on ps3 that i was on sessions with 17 players, but only 16 were visible on the players list, so it was either some R* admin or some modder.

Yeah, not taking the matter seriously is pretty much the final nail in the coffin. This is, I guarantee, 100% a waste of your time and a failure (other than the lulz which have been great).

 

It will never be more than something some kid somewhere slung together one afternoon.

Was hoping this was a public name & shame list where I could shame people from GTAOnline who are total idiots or do something special that they chose to go on a list calling them out on what they did.

 

But anyway this isn't a bad idea but I doubt this going to work well, you've still got false reports coming in and from the sounds of it you have access to the reports so I hope someone isn't going to bypass the image as proof requirement by uploading a random image just to get another player banned. It's great that you've come up with something and want to try and at least make a difference but until there's success from this and it's proved to work I'm very sceptical about it.

I do not know what reason he has but here I leave mine. With a screenshot you can't prove anything. Rockstar is not going to bother to check anything since it's been more than a year there is'nt a web reporting service, it's only via game. Also, you should clarify that this is only for PC players (and old-gen) becuase on PS4 and XBOX One there are no modders, just glitches. And think more, explosive bullets, "immortal" Ruiner2000 (yeah, they saidme this), killing through walls with sniper... are things that exist on the game, is not thing of modders/hackers.
