Heya!

Since there are so many hackers and modders in GTA Online and the report feature somehow doesnt work (probably because there are too many hackers/modders in the game), i decided to create a public reporting website for hackers / modders in GTA:O. Anyone can report a player on this website but you are required to upload proof that the player was actually hacking/modding by uploading a screenshot as JPEG (you can also link a youtube video in the description but a screenshot is required). This report then gets directly forwarded to me and to Rockstar along with proof so that the hacker/modder will definitely get what he deserves. (I forward the report to myself aswell to check if its spam or if the report is false). Since this project is far from being completed I just wanted to make a little post on here so that you guys can give me some feedback and some ideas for new features.

A noble effort but when cheaters have the tools to cheat themselves cash and RP at will, accounts are disposable and bans essentially meaningless. They just make a new one and spend 5 minutes in the cheat menu getting back to where they were.

It will be useful not in terms of reporting the cheaters, but in terms of monitoring changes - how well these cheaters are banned and the R* effectiveness overall.

You can track if their banned or not by checking the statistics in social club. Banned accounts should have zeroes in statistics.

Is it possible to show summary like?

Username - Reports Count

 

Also, It would be nice to see a date next to the report

Well, with enough effort, this can be somewhat helpfull. If not even banning people, but warning people about possible hacker activity.
Community is doing Rockstar's job, nothing new.

I know someone who knows someone who works at R*. Theres a private report system for r* employees.

Maybe you should change the site so it only shows the reports which you gave your ok for. Other sites have that too, where some admin/moderator has to check your post first before it becomes visible.

I was under the impression that it did the same thing it's always done, which is apply a small amount of bad sport points to whoever gets reported (and "commend" does the opposite). I never thought for a second they were manually reviewing those reports, it would take a small army to keep up with them all.

 

As for this site - it just has near-infinite potential for abuse, and near-infinitesimal potential for affecting real change, sorry. I would encourage players who encounter modders to get video of what they're doing and send a ticket to Rockstar.

Ohhhh. I forgot that other thing existed. Yeah, the in-game reporting is nothing more than a bad sport point add-on, I'm pretty sure.
