Have they ramped up the "difficulty" on vehicle warehouse retrievals?

I've noticed the traffic cars are more aggressive and troll the crap out of me to try to cause damage on both delivery and sourcing.

 

I've not noticed any change in anything else except the source mission with the car on the barge in the ocean surrounded by guards does not show up for me anymore.

My newest method is I go down that alley by the Fridgit Ice Warehouse and park my armored Kuruma just past the swinging fence gates down a little side alley by the trailer. Then I go back to the warehouse and upgrade the car I'm selling. I go down the alley and pull it in where it won't get hit by bullets and here they come (the blue Sultans) I jump in the Kuruma and take out the 8 Sultans that come gunning. Use my AP Pistol. Then drive the car to the buyer with no damage. And pistol rounds are pretty cheap.

 

I was using the Rhino Tank to take out the Sultans but then the Fire Dept comes and they bring their own headaches.

You just gave me an idea. I think I'll try that but with my Weaponized Tampa instead of a Kuruma. I need something new, fighting the Sultans on foot became old. And I have nowhere to use my Tampa right now.

I think I read in a similar topic somewhere on this forum that Rockstar have stopped this mission. I certainly haven't seen it for months now. Maybe during the smugglers run update, but I can't be sure of that. No doubt someone a lot more helpful & knowledgeable than me can fill you in.

I had it down to a science. Land my Cargobob on the little island nearby and snipe the guards.

 

On the source mission at Lago Zancudo where you have to jump the vehicle off the ramp I've been doing this lately. Land your Cargobob within sniping range. Snipe the guards and then call Lester to drop the heat. Shuttle the car with the Cargobob over to the big hanger at Fort Zancudo (if you have your hanger there). I drop the car in the hanger and land the Cargobob. I have my Deluxo in the hanger (put it there before starting mission) and then jump in that and fight off the NPC's...no damage to car. Hillarious thing is the Army jumps in and helps you. Tank sat there and destroyed all the armored cars that come gunning, all I had to do was take out the choppers with the Deluxo. Pretty funny.

Oh, nevermind, I see now. You didn't park it in your hanger, but the open one.

Yeah I was running to the Deluxo and I hear these Army guys yelling "Death embrace youuuuu" or something like that. I'm like WTF? And then go outside and they are fighting it out, funny as heck.
