tasic89
I get the Stunt one by the sign. Same deal. This time with the chopper and the entire Expendables Crew inside. They do not spawn unless you are moving the vehicle thus incurring insane amounts of damage. Why alert guards on Stunt ? Just get to the stunt ramp without any guard seeing you, see if that one which walks looks the car, if he isnt, just enter and use "lshift" Also, use Cargobob as much as you can, I noticed that npc aim is better bcs almost every sale, i am hitted with Bob, lose is not much, but like, they always take 62-240 dollars xD

jackrobot
It's been a while since I've done any I/E but for tail the Kuruma I always follow in a Buzzard without spooking the driver and when he reaches the destination and gets out I just blow the f*ckers up with the Homing Missiles. The source vehicle never takes any damage (unless it's been patched) then just get in the car and do a Sunday drive back to the warehouse without any enemies spawning. This is on PC btw. III-Ari-III
Steps out of the car to kill npcs in import/export... ahahahahahaha Why do people complicate things? just f*cking drive to the place.. at most you will get 8k damage and that's when the helicopter chases you.. otherwise if you drive good its usually less than 5k, sometimes even 0 damage (at least in my case). In the amount of time you saved by not shooting them, you more than enough covered for any extra cost. Scottiedog123
No Use For A Name
My goal is under $5k total damage between sourcing and selling. Thats still $75k of profit. M.K.N.
R* simply doesn't care at all and will constantly beef up NPC accuracy to the point where it becomes a breaking point instead of fun. Even Cargobobs aren't any better since R* can easily nerf the heli so that any attached car used for Import and Export will detach at random points and without warning, upping the repair costs to thousands of dollars. They sure know how to play with our emotions especially when it comes to making money.

I dont do anything that slows me down, and that includes wasting time with NPCs and using the Cargobob The Cargobob method isn't perfect, but the savings in damage and often the time can't be ignored. On the Exporting side, I delivered 113/131 with $0 in damage. The 17 deliveries that were damaged had a combined $5411 in loss. (Damn $62 bullet holes) For Importing, 100 of my 162 were damageless with a $909 average on the damaged ones, often from when a NPC died near the door of a car that promptly fell off when I got into the car. No method can prevent that 100% of the time. The one car that I lost from the hook-glitch was still a lower average operating loss than ~$5k per vehicle gtafan26 and No Use For A Name

I dont do anything that slows me down, and that includes wasting time with NPCs and using the Cargobob Depending on where your office is, you don't even waste more than a minute getting to your Cargobob. On Lombank Office, I just do a parachute jump and I'm right in front of the 'bob, ready to go on with the I/E.
No Use For A Name
$5k is more of a worst-case scenario than a guideline for me. I only hit that on the Mt Gordo race (f*ck the 900r) and a few others. Im actually pretty good at delivering cars in solo lobbies with zero damage. As long as you can blow past the first two NPCs, all it takes is driving the correct speed to prevent them from respawning. I know the Cargobob takes less damage than driving them, but thats the only advantage. Assume you leave your office with a Bob, cause god help you if you have to fly all the way to a spawn point to get one. About 65% of source missions have NPCs, you youll invariably have to land, call for CEO Buzzard, use Buzzard to kill enemies, fly back to Bob, take Bob back to car, land to move car to pick it up (unless they changed this), back in Bob, fiddle around with picking up car, slowly gain altitude so you dont get raped by bullets, then finally fly to destination. By the time youve done all that Im already two blocks from my warehouse. Granted, I take the highway to La Mesa in all but one source, but I reckon its nearly as quick for other locations. Even in sources without the NPCs, youre still gonna have to find a place to land, get out and move the car, get back in, etc etc. Now selling, especially with a vehicle WH that has a spot to land a Bob, is a different story. Id do that every time since I sell in solo. Last time I tried at LM it despawned, causing me to drive a Roosevelt 4.74 miles with assholes chasing me. It was ugly
TheFroggmann
Source mission was Tail The Kuruma. End destination was in Vinewood Hills.Vehicle is the Reaper. After killing the NPC's I proceed to drive back to my warehouse.I drive slowly waiting for the 2 car enemy spawn.I get the first spawn and I park the vehicle. The usual terminator aim damages the vehicle and I incur a $1,200 damage.I exit the vehicle. Of course the exit is the usual slow get up animation.I kill the first wave and I wait. This usually works for me. Not a huge amount but I've sold 530 top ends so I'm pretty aware of all of the source missions. Or so I thought.I sit there for 30 seconds. And there's no 2nd wave. They usually spawn after 10-20 seconds.I get back in the vehicle waiting for the spawn. Another 10 seconds. Nothing. So, I back out slowly.Lo and behold I get the 2nd wave on opposite sides of the street shooting with terminator aim hitting the vehicle. Another $1,200 damage (the beautiful slow animation usually is the cause of most of the damage).I rpg one car and minigun the other.I wait again. This time for a minute.Nothing.I get back in the vehicle. Wait for another minute. Nothing.I back out slowly.Boom there they are.Same deal. Another $1,200.After killing them I just try to drive back as fast as possible. If you are familiar with Vinewood Hills you would know that the streets are not the biggest. They spawn infront of me covering the entire street. Slam into the vehicle still terminator.10k damage. I blow the car up and source another.I get the Stunt one by the sign. Same deal. This time with the chopper and the entire Expendables Crew inside. They do not spawn unless you are moving the vehicle thus incurring insane amounts of damage.Anyone else experience this after this update? Maybe I'm just glitched. Yes they have been like this for a while. Always take a cargobob. BTW if you aren't seen tailing the Kuruma, the followers don't spawn. If you approach from the ramp on the drivers side and keep wary of the visibility cones no followers. The more you know, the more you will earn. Oh and Cargobob. Aznknight
Reason why I step out is because I love killing the NPC's. Reason for no cargobob is because I love driving. I'm well aware of how to make my life easier in this game. I just choose the above methods because this game will feel like a grind if I source pickin up with a bob and doing it over and over without any variety. I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same stuff I was.

thedredgod
I noticed it in the last week. I only bought my vehicle warehouse about 2 months ago and quickly made millions. In the last days I have seen increased dufficulty in sourcing, and in selling. Same thing when I try crates which already suck. It feels impossible to make money. I'm stuck at 1.2 mil and no I'm not buying rockstar im game currency.
thedredgod
Today I had a reaper catch fire and blow up from npc fire. I was taking the highway. They've chased me all the way to the warehouse and my vehicle never caught fire before, I've sourced the reaper at least 10 times. f*ck THIS GAME! I dont do anything that slows me down, and that includes wasting time with NPCs and using the Cargobob For sourcing, my goal is no more than $5k worth of damage, past that and I will blow up the car and move on. See, I feel the Cargobob allows me to get sh*t done faster, and a lot of the source missions, I just grab the car and go, no fuss, no muss, unless the aimbot NPC's manage to do more than $5k worth of damage. Selling, Cargobob all the time now, I wont even think about trying to sell one now without it. Ive pretty much moved on from sourcing now.

Scottiedog123
Always do top end cars always get 4 waves if I stop to fight, but knowing the routes I usually just drive straight there flat out, knowing where they appear and reading the traffic ( giving space and allowing for random traffic movements) I rarely get any probs, rarely more than 2k damage, saves time and money stopping to fight, I will honour them with a fight if they are quick enough/lucky enough to catch me. Also there is another technique of letting one wave follow you, and not driving too fast as to maintain a set distance, that way the next wave never arrives you are just being persued by the first wave. APB
Stopping and fighting is more fun for me. Besides if you don't stop and fight, the peds go haywire if someone is shooting at you, the traffic becomes a nightmare and easy 8-10k+ worth in damages depending on the mission. Bob is still the best tho for moneymaking.

Derphoe
Source missions I'll park the car and fight whatever enemies come. Sell missions I park my oppressor a short distance from my warehouse and just casually blow the blue karumas to blue karuma hell. I have only ever encountered 2 or 4 wave enemies for either scenario.
